The next person who not-so-politely tells me, "ZOMG you're showing THAT MUCH at 3 months? Lyke, dood, I didn't show or gain one ounce until 7 months! You're gonna be HUGE and MISERABLE." might get a swift punch in the throat.
Like who are you to tell me what you think the status of my shifting guts/bump/bloat/womb/uterus is? Bye Felicia.
I woke up with a Bruno Mars song in my head this morning, and then made DD listen to him while she ate breakfast and I danced around the kitchen singing along at the top of my lungs. DH was still in bed (but shouldn't have been), but he didn't say a word. I guess he's used to it by now.
It's currently taking everything I have not to crank the volume on Billionaire by Travie McCoy in my office and sing along. What up, Oprah?
2) I just remembered this yesterday. When I went to get an HSG done a few months ago when we were seeing an RE, the nurse mentioned at the beginning that there were wipes in case the dye leaked out at the end and gestured to this little cart with a big canister of wipes. So after the doc did the HSG and left I grabbed a wipe and immediately started burning up like a mother down there! I looked and saw I grabbed a wipe for sanitizing tools/countertops. Next to the huge canister was a small pack of body-friendly wipes. You guyz, it burrrrrrrrrrrned. So much burning. Miracle we got pregnant at all after that.
I thought I was the only person who had ever done this. I did it just prior to a pelvic exam. Seriously I thought my lady bits were being sheared off by acid erosion. WTF ARE THOSE THINGS MADE OF?

Oh yeah! I remember the first time I met one of DH's aunts was when I was 17ish weeks shopping for maternity clothes. She was all "wellI didn't start showing until 6 months". Cool for you! But none of my pants fit so unless you want me walking around Wal-Mart style in my pajamas I'm going to buy myself some maternity jeans.
I like it when little girls wear tutus! I have personally worn a few myself as an adult. You would be surprised how much personal space people give you when you have one of those bad boys on!
Exhibit A. Me at the Lady Gaga concert a few years back (I have the lime green one):
@lrobi13 Wait- are there ppl who think little girls shouldn't wear tutus? Because seriously, my kid wears one pretty much daily. We have like 10 bc Nana keeps buying them, so I just put pants underneath and we go about our business. DD is a ballerina, all the time.
FFFC: Speaking of DD, all she's had to eat today so far is half a pancake, milk with Ovaltine, and some potato chips- and a multi vitamin, so we're good
These are so not confessions people! Lets see something flame worthy! For example... my confession...
A week or so ago DH and I had a huge fight and he decided to storm out of the house. I then proceeded to type up a text about how he was being a terrible person always leaving when things get tough... and (here's the flammable part) how his child will feel if he always does this to them - feeling like daddy will never come home and that he has abandoned them.
I knew it would hurt his feelings which is exactly why I said it at the time but I hate that I said it and have resolved not to do it again. Oh, and if it matters, the fight was about him getting a job because he's been sulking around for 3 weeks now and hasn't even updated his resume!
Also, I remembered as I was going to bed last night that I still had a load of wet clothes in the washer. I was too lazy to go change them over so I just re-washed them this morning.

H and I had a discussion a while back about something he lied to me about. (don't remember what it was about but it was something small) While we were talking my 3 year old said "Daddy, why do you always lie to mommy?" He doesn't but you know 3 year olds. That really tore my H up seeing that even a 3 year old could see how he hurt my feelings. He hasn't lied to me about anything since.
I don't even open threads about when people have had a miscarriage. Maybe that makes me heartless, but I just can't. It's not that I don't care, of course I do, but I just can't bring myself to open them.
I posted something on face book this week knowing it would piss someone off. Then I sat back and watched the fireworks show. It didn't disappoint! Not only did a bunch of people get involved but also people deleted each other. Exactly the entertainment I was looking for that day.

I bought cookies to share with my coworkers this afternoon when I tell them that I'm pregnant, but after listening to them all bicker amongst themselves yet again, I've decided that I'm not sharing any cookies with them.
I've been letting DS1 watch nick Jr shows on my phone so that I can sleep an extra hour. The novelty of getting to play with my phone keeps him quiet so DS2 sleeps longer. I started a new job last week so I am home all day then work from 4 to 10 pm. I am too tired drag my butt out of bed at 7:30.
I specifically chose the hospital we will deliver in because it is NOT "baby friendly". I had a horrible experience after DS1's birth due to some of the "baby friendly" policies. My non "baby friendly" hospital was a much better experience with DS2 and breastfeeding actually went better and worked out. I just found out that I may have to deliver in a different baby friendly hospital this time (same system as the hospital DS1 was born at) and I am seriously considering switching OBs.
My kids were pissing me off last night, so I paraphrased their bedtime story:
'Once upon a time there was a snowy white rabbit who hates brushing his teeth. His wails and cries could be heard all over the forest, so the bear ate him.
His friend, the badger was terribly loud and miserable at bedtime as well. He would scream, flail, and violently whack his head against hard surfaces, so the bear ate him.
In a thicket nearby lived a young fox who refused to stay in his bed. He laughed and smiled mischievously with every sneaky escape. Yep, you guessed it, the bear ate him too.
And then all the woodland animals were dead. The end.'
I do this too. We read a lot of Dr. Seuss books. They can be looooooong.
My FFFC: My husband buys these habanero pickles by the case (yes, the case). Normally I like them ok but these past couple of weeks I can't get enough. So the problem is I'm pretty sure they are the reason I've been a little...ahem...loose. But I don't care. Bring on the hot pickles and diarrhea!

I am purposefully making sure that I am the "better" daughter-in-law. My MIL doesn't get along with her other DIL and I have been scoring points by stepping up in the exact areas she hasn't.

I MAY have fallen asleep last night cuddling a sleeve of ritz crackers and two Gatorade bottles with three sips of backwash....I mean Gatorade...in them.
It was also the greatest night ever since everytime I woke up I got to munch on some crackers and take a swig of Gatorade.
I am currently eating chips and queso and a half a can of code red mountain dew (my vice before I got pg).
If that's not bad enough, I feel more disappointed that the mountain dew doesn't taste right anymore than I do guilty for drinking it in the first place.

I LOVE mountain dew game fuel, I have 6 12-packs in my house, I have only had one since I got pg, and it didn't taste good at all...so sad, I hope it passes soon.
dorothyzbornak97 : Hope you feel better soon. It is crazy how are brains can make some wild links.
Thanks. I am feeling better, other than this damn heartburn. Who knew water could give you heartburn? The next few months are going to be interesting.
@dorothyzbornak97 I have a prescription for my acid reflux and it doesn't even touch it. I've found a glass of Ovaltine does the trick every time! If you wanted to give it a shot.

I try to do this too! It doesn't help that she has been dating my brother-in-law since junior high (yes, you read that right), so they have had quite a bit of time to build up some bad blood.
Luckily, I don't have to try hard. I just have to not do anything really really terrible and I win because the other DIL is about as white trash as they come.
I'm actively trying to come up with reasons to cancel plans with friends tonight... Because I really want to watch Frozen in my pjs and go to bed early.

I probably would say I was feeling under the weather, sorry I have to bail or something like that. I totally have done that before.
My FFC- I had my first "sexy" dream this pregnancy last night. And it just happened to include Hook from Once Upon A Time. When my ds woke me up I set him up with his game on my phone so I could try to fall back to sleep and finish my dream. Lol
I feel totally awful about this, but I'm putting on my flame retardant suit. I am so jealous of people that have little girls. My neighbour and friend just had her 2nd little girl (as of this morning!!), and all I can think about is that I'm probably never going to get to experience having a daughter. I'm just feeling a bit depressed about having another boy. I know that I will love him with all my heart (or we wouldn't be having anymore kids)! But it's going to take some time to wrap my head and heart around having 3 boys. And yes, it is still possible that the tech was wrong at our NT, but I've felt all along that it's another boy and can't even force myself to imagine this LO as a girl.
I wish some of my middle school kids had parents that would parent them and not treat them as adults. Some of them have no boundaries and think anything goes.
My other one for today is that I used to LOVE emo music when I was in high school. If I'm being very honest, I will still listen to it really loud on the way home from a bad day at work. I know that I deserve all of the flames for this, but I don't care.
I was never really that into emo, but one of my all-time favorite songs, to this day, is The Get Up Kids' I'll Catch You.

I totally just ate a chocolate cupcake with chocolate chocolate chip frosting.
Also, I'm wearing my holey flight suit today because it's the only thing that fits.
