Confess Away!

Mine: Yesterday I picked up my daughter and her friend from preschool, and at a stop light there was some younger looking guys in a truck blasting rap music with the windows rolled down. You know what I did? I didn't roll my windows up, instead I turned my music up even louder, causing everyone in surrounding cars to look at me... the song was "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid. As we drove away and I turned down the music my 4 year old says, "mom, you're so cool."
Yes... yes I am.

Totally LOL'd at the cool mom story! I usually have Laurie Berkner blasting in my car for dd and sometimes forget to turn it off when she's not in the car....

We had our LO Wednesday and chose to come home yesterday. Our fridge is barren and the cupboards are bare. I really want someone/anyone to bring us all the foodz but I don't want to ask anyone. This makes me sound bratty and entitled, but I give zero fucks. Feeeeed me, Seymour!

My idea of cleaning my house these days is turning on my Roomba. If the robot can't clean it, it doesn't need to be cleaned!

My dad already bought a round trip ticket to visit from Wednesday night to the following Monday so he can see the baby. I told him not to and - SURPRISE - I'm one day overdue and of course there's no way of knowing if she'll arrive before he gets here. I have to schedule my induction today and I'm thinking of scheduling for the same day he leaves so I can give myself and baby the whole week to go naturally. Sorry, Dad, but I told you not to buy a ticket!

I don't like push presents. I think the baby is a gift. However, DH said he was taking me shopping today to get me something special for doing such a great job with the baby, and doing it basically all by myself. I'm totally stoked about getting some jewelry!

I have no urge whatsoever to clean anything. I'm pretty sure I've been missed by the nesting fairy and I don't care one bit.

My husband has been on active duty for the military since end of jan and were due on 4/27. He graduates on May 2 and on says he's not gonna make it for the birth. Little man is def going to come early. My husband texted me the other day if he could get me an appreciation present not a push present for being alone with our two year old and his 11 yo ( previous marriage) for the last three/four months. Damn straight you can buy me something Shiney!!!!

My MIL wears THE WORST perfume (which she applies heavily) and every time she comes over we have to change the kiddos' outfits because the scent lingers. DH and I are so fed up with it that he told her the baby broke out in hives today after she left just so she won't wear it around us any more.

I'm overdue but I want the baby to just stay put for the weekend so I can spend it curled up on the couch eating cheeseburgers with my husband one last time before we have to deal with a baby.
