Unsalted butter is necessary for us when it's only the Fleischmann's unsalted butter sticks that don't contain dairy (that I've found anayway that don't cost $$$) and I need a dairy-free butter to cook/bake with due to DS' allergies.
My DS has just gotten into Harry Potter and we started watching the movies together. We just found a couple of the books at a rummage, so we'll be starting to read those together too. I didn't get the hype beforehand, but now I love them. If the movies are good, I know the books are going to be a thousand times better.
I've read both the Twilight series and the 50 Shades of Gray series. Both were just "meh" to me, but I read them to see what the hype was all about. I still don't get it. I've only ever seen the first Twilight movie, and don't have any intentions of seeing the 50 Shades of Gray one.
My UO: I give DD juice. It's 100% juice and it's only a few ounces a day, Most times it's diluted with water. I don't see a huge deal in it.
Agree with @Erin10408 - I don't understand the appeal of masking odor with more odor. A light scented lotion or something is fine, but don't walk around in a cloud of perfume. Just bathe regularly.
UO: I am not a fan of long hair on guys. If you can wear it in a ponytail, it's too long.
Heyy... is this because I don't wash my hands?!
No but seriously, I don't understand why wearing perfume automatically insinuates not bathing? Because I only wear perfume when I am going out somewhere important, i.e. freshly showered and put together. And honestly, I think the kind of people who generally wear perfume are the kind of people who are, for the most part, well-kept and put together. Obviously spraying it on to cover your stench is disgusting!
Sorry... I actually was working and stuff today. Didn't mean to create controversy (such a it exists on this board) and disappear. I worded that poorly. Since shampoo, body wash, lotion, deodorant, hair spray, dryer sheets, etc. are all scented, I don't see the need to add the additional odor of perfume. Most folks in the modern world aren't using it to cover BO. I just don't like the overly strong and often cloying scents of perfumes or colognes. I prefer odor neutral to pleasantly scented. I'm also the weirdo that loves the smell of Old Spice deodorant on my H. So take my thoughts on smell for what they are worth. .
That song "Happy" is so annoying! The only thing "happy" about it is when it's over. :-q
This makes me sad. I love this song, its the song guaranteed to get me moving when I am in slow mo. And the rendition by the kids from the Detroit Academy of science and arts is super cute!
I adore this song too. It always puts a smile on my face -- and reminds me that LIFE IS GOOD!

I'm the weirdo who loves the smell of Sure Unscented deodorant on my husband. The man never smells bad...ever. It's kind of weird. Like, we've been camping and he hasn't showered for 3 days and it's the middle of summer and he still smells good. :-/

I'm convinced it's the grown-up version of "If You're Happy and You Know It, Clap Your Hands"!
Speaking of popular book/movie series, I'm not a fan of a lot of pop-culture. I haven't watched or read 50 Shades or Twilight (nor do I intend to) but I have seen Star Wars and LOTR, and some of the Harry Potter movies, none of which I enjoyed.
Ummm... you have "seen the Harry Potter movies"? But haven't read the books?! That is a serious travesty.
Sorry to post and run yesterday!
No, I said I've seen some of the Harry Potter movies. Some friends made me watch the first one, I got dragged to see the 5th (I think) one in theatres by my husband, and possibly one other one, but I can't remember for sure. I didn't like them enough to even bother watching the rest of the movies, so I also see no point in reading the books. Just not my thing.
@ceamac0127@jdubb13@jthree Seriously.... I am considering it. If I didn't live in the South, I would be driving your way right now. After all, my spring break starts in mere hours!!!!!

I saw that the other day when I was driving past McDonald's. Oh man. I may have to indulge. I'm really trying to lose a couple pounds as none of my work clothes fit and I'm due back soon...
