It's no secret multiples are on the rise. What's the highest order multiples you have known IRL?

I worked with a girl who was an identical triplet and have met 2 other sets of fraternal triplets.

Lydia's teacher has quads in her PM class - 3 ID boys and a girl. Maybe that doesn't count since I don't KNOW them? When my brother was young, he had good friends that are triplets.

I think that would be me if I had quads. Whatever keeps you busy and isn't hurting anyone works for me!

The people I used to nanny for knew someone who had a set of fraternal boy twins, then two years later had another set. They said they were in survival mode for years. I can only imagine!

I didn't know them personally, but 6 or 7 years ago someone from city had quads. They weren't due to fertility treatment. They were born very premature and sadly only one of the quads lived.

In our Bible Study this semester, there are three sets of twins, not all the same family. Which is pretty crazy, I think.

A friend of a friend who we saw a lot socially growing up had quads (B,B,G,G) who are now in college. The quads were conceived with IF treatments after many years of struggling, so imagine their surprise when they get a BFP when the quads were 3 months old. Their 5th child ended up being 11 months younger than the quads!

The local high school has three sets of triplets in the Sr. Class...and one set dates one part of one and a part of another...or something like that. There was an article in the paper. LOL

DD has a set of twins for friends who have twin brothers three years younger than them.

I went to high school with 6 sets of twins in 400 kids.

In high school I was good friends w/ a set of quads (all girls) that were a few years older than me.

Shortly after I announced my pregnancy w/ the twins I got an email from a college friend saying "My brother and SIL thought they were having twins at first....and the quads were just born two months ago!" That story only freaked me out a little.....

I should add that thankfully the quads +1 couple had always saved their money very well, so even when the unexpected happened they were in great shape. They rebuilt their house (because it wasn't big enough for 5 kids!) and brought in a live-in nanny while mom SAH. I know some on here mock SAHMs who have nannies, but a live-in in that situation was definitely a necessity!

We have 2 sets of twins in our girl scout troop, one was born conjoined.

We had 4 sets of twins in our MOMS Club chapter at one time. One Mom has two sets of twins, 26 months apart.

There is a family that I saw (do not know) in town that had Quads. They had a double jogger that had 2 seats on the top facing the handle.

I once saw a lady in the park walking w/ what looked like a quadruple jogging stroller....I was thoroughly impressed (not just w/ the stroller lol) but didn't stop her to say anything b/c I figured she probably gets the questions and comments all the time :-p

I went to college with identical triplet girls. There used to be a regular shopper at the store where I was a manager pre-DS who had twins and triples (all spontaneous all fraternal) 16 months apart.

I babysat triplets.

I just spoke with my old daycare provider who recently closed up her daycare. She is helping a family friend out that has a 3 year old boy, 18 month twin boys, and newborn twin boys. I shuddered a little when I heard that.

A family friend was one of 9 (she's in her 50s now). One singleton followed by 4 consecutive sets of twins! The guiness book contacted her father in the 60s but he refused to put them in because he didn't want their family to become a spectacle. I've met most of the 9 (the woman is friends with my mom) and those whom I have met are the kindest, most loving people.
