You are all amazing- thank you so much for the thoughts, prayers and humor you sent my way! @chickpea912‌ did an awesome job with updates- the hospital internet hated me so I am sorry I've been AWOL. I got to come home very late on Monday after we learned my fetal fibronectin was negative- and a bit of a snafu with some labs (more on that in a second). I continue to contract every 2-4 minutes, some worse than others in terms of pain. Since my cervix isn't dilating (just effacing) they don't really feel like its preterm labor. No clear answer on the cause of the contractions because everything they know to cause them (infection, placenta issues) has been ruled out so for now they are deeming it an irritable uterus and have told me to expect to continue to contract. They assure me the contractions will be more frequent, more intense, or both when I'm in labor. I'm on bedrest for 20 hours a day, and my mom is up here for the time being to do our nursery and cook while I "supervise" from the couch. So far doctors have told me they are confident that they can get me to 32 weeks and one has tentatively mentioned increasing activity at 34 weeks if I'm stable. So, I guess I'm just trying to hang in there as best I can. H and I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support we've received between offers for meals, visits, and people mailing us care packages or sending their log in info for Netflix, HBO, etc. The twins are also on prayer lists at churches all around the world it seems, from all across the US, to the UK and in Egypt. Now I'm off to love tit all the messages that I couldn't respond to because my phone kept insisting I "didn't have permission to do so.

I'm happy to hear the doctors are optimistic at keeping those babies cooking for a little while longer! hopefully the bed rest won't be so bad and it's nice your mom could come be there with you. sending lots of good vibes your way and I hope your uterus maybe chills out a little
