Parenting after 35

@Geeps2

Happy Birthday!  Or at least I'm pretty sure I saw a message you had last week that said your birthday was today.  I could be making it up?  I'm a little sleep deprived.  If it is your birthday, I hope you have an awesome day!

  • It's just a number...and you're only as old as you feel/act/whatever.  Easy to say, huh?  Somedays (with my non sleeping baby) I feel about 80!  I hope you had a good day!
  • LOL I am slowly getting used to it.  I have no choice lol.  I too am so tired I could die.  I can't wait till my son sleeps through the night.  I'm so tired!!!

    Thanks for thinking of me.  I had a super yummy dinner out with my hubs to celebrate and will be going out with my sister and brother in law and some friends in a few weeks.  I have to have oral surgery on Friday so I will be dealing with a gaping hole in my mouth where my tooth once was :(

  • I hear you on the sleeping through the night thing.  DD slept through the night for like 3 weeks, put her down around 8pm and she'd sleep until 6 or 7 the next morning.  Some mornings I even woke her up.  Right after she turned 4 months, that ended.  She's up at least twice a night.  The first time around 12 I can get her back to sleep in her crib.  The next wake up around 1 or 2, I just bring her back to bed with me, which means I don't sleep as well, but at least she's sleeping.  She needs her sleep just as much, probably more, than I do.  Plus I enjoy the snuggles!

    Oral surgery to start your weekend?  That sounds AWFUL!  Good luck with that and I hope all goes smoothly and heals quickly!
