I've been trying to teach my LO different animal sounds. He used to do cow and sheep pretty well, but recently he's decided that every animal goes "buh." Cows, sheep, horses, ducks, dogs, you name it, it goes "buh." I think I should narrow my focus and do 2-3 animals at a time. Doing the 10ish I have on the list is obviously getting him confused!

In our house every animal sounds like a monkey. Where she figured out monkey sounds I have NO clue, she went to the zoo last year.

we live in a house where every animal is a "cat cat"...she used to say "duck" too, but I think she's decided she likes "cat cat" better

I was just going to say this! DD calls every guy dada and she kept doing this today at TJ Maxx when it was just me and her.

Oh, I guess sometimes they say "Meooo" which I think is a cross between a "Meow" and a "Mooo"

I'm a lurker from January 13 but had to chime in... Our animals say cluck cluck and it basically sounds like cock! I had to explain it to the lady at daycare why she was yelling cock so often :-)
