Connor and Kiera were born on 3/30 :x I'm bumping from mobile, no paragraphs so I'll try to keep the story short. We went in 3 days prior for my induction. I ended up going through a full induction with no success. After 1.5 days of inducing and laboring we stopped, I was allowed to shower and eat and we started the entire induction process again. It was another 1.5 days of laboring and inducing before the doctors told me it just wasn't working and I needed a c section. After 3 days of labor they could have told me they were going to rip my babies out of any part of my body and I would have been good with it. We started prepping for the surgery and suddenly Connor's heart rate dropped and my scheduled surgery turned into emergency status. The surgery wasn't great. It took 2 hours, lil man wasn't doing well, the twins were all intertwined, I had a bad reaction to the drugs and was shaking terribly, I hemorrhaged a stupid amount of blood and needed a transfusion and to top it off the operating table I was on malfunctioned and they almost dropped me. Nice. Little man was rushed to the NICU and my daughter was handed to my husband and told to go wait in the hall (he was freaking out). So ya, that's how that went down. It's funny how once you have you babies none of that maters anymore. Little man was only in the NICU for an hour, he was fine. Both babies are happy, healthy and amazing. I love being a mom!!
