I hope this is okay, April is now well underway so there will be more of us. It's getting pretty lonely where I'm standing, all the baby announcements are awesome but also incredibly frustrating.

How far along are you? 40w4d and struggling.

What is/was your birth plan? Vaginal with epidural, if all went well.

Eviction notice: has it been posted? Do you have a plan to get that baby out? Firm end date to this misery? Induction set for next Monday at 41w3d, baby is no longer doing fabulous on the NST. Still good, but not as good, and it's making my anxiety skyrocket.

While the midwives will let me got to 42 weeks the OB will only let me go 10 days past. I really thought I would have her yesterday, with contractions 2 minutes apart for 7 hrs but it was a really bad episode of this false labour shit.

@maelic we have the same due date and I feel your pain! I have had NO signs of labor coming any time soon though. And I know that can be normal but never had BH, real contraction, loss of plug or ANYTHING. sigh. How far along are you? 40w4d What is/was your birth plan? Doctors are really wanting to schedule induction for Friday but I am really hoping he arrives on his own before then. On top of it I am getting paranoid that his movements have slowed the past couple of days but I know if I go in to get checked they will probably just go ahead and try to pressure me to induce then. And I know from a BPP yesterday his heart rate and everything seems to be fine so maybe I am overthinking it. We'll start induction on Sunday at 41 weeks if she doesn't get a move on soon. So happy to know an end date, but anxious about that process

I'm 40w1d. This is my 3rd, and my other two babies were 4 weeks and 2 weeks early, so I was not at all expecting to see my due date come and go.

What is/was your birth plan?

Vaginal with epidural. Although things went so fast with my 2nd that I didn't get an epidural, so I'm trying to prepare myself for that outcome again. But REALLY hoping for an epidural.

Dr set an induction date for Monday at 41w, but said to call if I decide I want to be induced sooner.

It's not the things they say, it's just that I feel like I'm disappointing everyone by not having this baby yet. Since my others came so early, we've all been expecting that this would have happened much earlier.

My BP was still high at my appt yesterday but not high enough to induce. Fluid levels & baby's heartbeat look good. I have another appointment on Friday so I'm sure we'll talk eviction plans then.

Vaginal birth. Thumbs up to drugs if I need them! Totally fine with c-section if that is what is necessary to get the baby out safely.

What is/was your birth plan? med free with midwife at hospital (same as for DS)

Eviction notice: has it been posted? 42 wks, so April 21, assuming the non-stress test and biophysical profile during the 41st wk don't indicate a need to do it sooner. I was 3 days early with DS so I really hope it doesn't go that long (though I wasn't expected it to go this long either).

I just wish every person at my office just didn't have to mention it every single time I see them.

Plan on VD with gas and air but open to anything should I need it.

No eviction notice yet, midwife said at 40 weeks I wasn't a good candidate for induction b/c pregnancy had gone "so well" and was still measuring the same as the week before, and she didn't want to up my c-section risk if she didn't have to. Did NST Monday, ultrasound and 2nd NST scheduled for Friday.

GTKY: If you could say one thing, with zero consequences, to all the people who are inquiring about the status of your cervix what would it be? Unless you have been personally involved with my cervix, you have zero reason to be questioning me about it.

Also, I'm sure all the rest of you are just as uncomfortable as me

I feel like LO is HUGE. I was a week late and 10 pounds, and my husband was 2 weeks late and nearly 8.5. I packed NB and 0-3 month clothes in our hospital bag cause I'm not entirely sure LO is gonna fit in the NB stuff (I sure didn't!) Not to mention they tell us to "rest and relax" but have they tried getting comfortable while LO is pushing on a nerve in your back and somehow kicking you in the ribs at the same time? I've tried everything on those silly lists to naturally induce labor, and I haven't even so much as had regular contractions. My dad/sister/stepmom had flown out at the end of March and beginning of April so they could meet LO, and they've all gone home already and my boss texts me like every other day wondering if I've had the baby yet (probably because the restaurant is falling apart without me :P ) and I just feel like I've disappointed everyone by him not being here, but on the other hand he's healthy so it's hard to feel too bad. UGH.

Yup! Admitted last night and received Cervadil. Have been having contractions on and off. They are moving me to L&D this morning and will start me on Pitocin..

What is/was your birth plan? Natural waterbirth, but the American Academy of Pediatrics just released a statement this month stating that they were still not in favor of hospital waterbirths....So, my hospital has discontinued the practice. So, hopefully a natural birth without pain meds.

Update for me:

Scheduled to be induced at 1 AM, which officially puts us at 41 weeks exactly. Had an ultrasound and an NST today, and LO is healthy and just fine, but midwife didn't want me to go past 41 weeks. Kinda bummed that we're going to have to be induced instead of going into it naturally, but as I haven't even had so much as regular contractions it's probably for the best. Still hoping for vaginal with epi, if all goes according to plan. Already snapping at family members still asking about whether or not LO is here yet, but I think my MIL is covering for me

Still waiting too. Just had an appointment and there is a whole lotta nothin' going on. I moved my induction to Monday. Praying that she comes before then, but doesn't look like it!

I'm planning on vaginal delivery most likely with an epi (for I am a whimp)

An eviction notice is in place, I have an induction scheduled for Monday at 7am. I'm hoping labor starts before then, but was told it is very unlikely.

GTKY- I think I would like to just wear a sticker with a psychic hotline number listed and refer people to that... I just don't even have then energy to be sassy.

Since I posted this morning, my induction has been set for 6am on Monday. We've told our parents that we will probably get induced early next week but I'm debating if we should tell them it's scheduled. Any advice?

I'm at 41 + 3 today! And no signs of labor, really. (Have only had what I'm sure are just BH contractions). I'm feeling really discouraged, to be honest.

My plan is to have a natural, med-free vaginal birth. I hope I can still go with this plan.... the midwives I see want to induce me at 42 weeks... I really hope to avoid that. (And if they do have to induce me, I might throw my plan out the window, b/c from what I've heard about pitocin I don't think I could go through with it without meds). If they can find a medical reason that I need to be induced, I'm totally on board... but so far baby & I are doing fine. They did a NST today & everything looked great.

Hmmm...if I could say anything: You know, it's not THAT unusual for a baby to be born after 41 weeks, people....he's perfectly healthy, & I'm sure he'll arrive when he's good and ready! Now can we PLEASE talk about something else?

OB will let me go 42 weeks. I have an appointment tomorrow to talk about inductions/set a date/check on baby. 42 weeks puts me at April 27th but that's a Sunday and the hospital doesn't schedule inductions or c-sections on Sundays so I'm not sure exactly what day induction would be. I'm going to start with the most natural induction methods possible: membrane sweep, castor oil, acupressure. Cervadil and pitocin are my absolute last resort. I would rather drink a pint of castor oil before gettin pitocin.

No birth plan really, vaginal and minimal intervention hopefully

No eviction notice yet (other than my own get the F outtttttt) but I have a doc's appointment today so we will probably set a just-in-case induction date for next week. You couldn't pay me to wait patiently for 42 weeks. I've been dilated and mostly effaced for weeks but nothing. Lost my mucus plus almost 2 weeks ago and nothing....no contractions, just some cramping here and there that leads to nothing.

GTKY: I just wish I could ignore all the texts and that people would take the hint without getting offended. SIL texted me yesterday "so are you having the baby today or not?" Uhh....your guess is as good as mine. I'm irrationally annoyed by all of these inquiries.

OB will let me go 42 weeks. I have an appointment and nst set for Monday. Will schedule induction then for later in the week. I guess I'll be around 41+3 or 4 for my induction. Please get out baby. I am seriously uncomfortable and slightly depressed your still in there.

A little update. Today is 42 weeks, so its time for an eviction! I am heading to the hospital in an hour for induction....yes a little disappointed and confused about why it is taking so long. BUT very excited to meet my son!

Actually as much as I want to NOT be PG anymore I don't want LO arriving yet because I have gotten DS's cold and there is no way I am up to delivering a baby right now, nor do I want to get her sick. So all of the walking, etc. I was doing has come to a screeching halt. My OB will induce me on Monday the 21st if she has not graced us with her presence yet.

Membrane sweep yesterday, another today. NST later this week and more sweeping Saturday if needed. Not sure what happens after that. I have a huge phobia of hospitals, so I do not want to end up getting induced/c section

Well, I can officially join this group.... I went to my 40 week appointment this morning, let her do cervical check, I was at 2 centimeters she stripped my membranes an did an ultrasound. Apparently my baby is right occiput transverse position and it can cause higher rate for c section, this is my 4th baby so I wasn't really expecting that! I was expecting to be induced like I have been the past three times. My next appt is not until next Thursday so I will be 41 weeks and she is saying she will schedule me for an induction after that appointment. Ugh....
