Baby shower was today!

My shower was awesome, but I ended up getting 5 of the same bath tub off of my registry. I later found out that nothing was showing up as purchased. I had friends that went in a few days ago and they said most things weren't purchased that were at my shower as gifts.
So strange! Now I'm wondering if it screws up the registry gift card perk they have going.

    I would just let the store know. My Target registry was messed up. I got two bottle cleaners when I registered for one, but it showed two were purchased. Then I got two of the dishwasher nipple baskets when I only registered for one. I've heard Target has been having problems lately.

    If it's Babies R Us, that seems to be a thing. It's been happening with mine lately, too. We've had our parents call us a couple of times to let us know what to mark as purchased since we can log in and do it ourselves.

    I had the same issue at BRU but only on some of my items, they fixed it when I called customer service.

    It happened to us with BRU and Target. We received several duplicates. Target's was terrible. The registry didn't list anything that had been purchased.

    Same issue with Target for me as well. Some items were updated, and others (received 4 carriers at my shower yesterday) weren't at all.

    Target has had registry issues for years, it's why we didn't register there for our wedding several years ago, and also didn't register for LO either. I had a couple things not come off my BRU registry, but for the most part it's been accurate. Customer service took care of crediting the couple items that didn't come off.

    Good to know I wasn't the only one. I registered at BRU and target, but the issue was with BRU. I will definitely check with customer service to make sure I get my gift card.

    Human error plays a big part too. A lot of people think asking for a gift receipt is the same thing as taking it off the registry. Many people don't know how they need to ask the cashier to scan the actual registry; then you add in cashier error and system errors. Boo!

    I had that happen with one item off my BRU registry, but you can just update the registry online.

    To actually get the points for the BRU sweetest deal, you have to actually return the items to the store and re-buy them if they weren't showing as purchased. Just marking them as purchased does not count toward their promo.

    I had the same issue at my shower this past weekend.

    I've noticed that. But with the items on mine, it wasn't the case. I only know because I stalked my registry haha

    This is so true. I once was buying some items off of a registry and handed the cashier the registry paper. She then asked me what a registry was. What!!? She was completely serious. And I remember looking at her name tag and seeing that she had worked there for a little while.

    I had the same issue at my shower this past weekend.
    This, my mother in law purchased a car seat for us but they didn't have the color I registered for on my registry so it didn't count. I just registered for the item and went in with the gift receipt. They returned and re-rang it to my registry so I would get credit. Had to get a registry specialist to explain it though cause the lady at customer service was confused.
