PAIF/SAIF welcome!
2. Short term/ Long term goals: Long term- nurse/pump til 1 year, then hopefully cut down to 1-2 times a day without my supply drying up before the boys self-wean or until 18 months.
3. Accomplishments / Struggles: the distractions! Sooo hard to tandem right now with all the things to see/touch/the brother. Accomplishments- still no formula at 9 months! They were on the small side at their checkup, but pedi says they are growing just fine so trying not to worry.
4. EBF, EPing, Supplementing?: EBF.
5. Any questions this week?: starting to think about my weaning to cows milk/freezer supply plan for when I stop pumping.
6. GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? Going to the lake! Excited to get back on the jet skis and tube this year!
2. Short term/ Long term goals: 6 months/1 year
3. Accomplishments / Struggles: H has had decent weight gain the last two weeks. Some of his feeds have gotten shorter, but the MOTN feed that used to be the shortest is now taking 30-40 minutes. (And then I have to pump, so I'm up for 2 hours in the middle of the night).
4. EBF, EPing, Supplementing?:
H - EBF
E - EP
6. GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity? Going to the farmers market. I can't wait for warm sunny days and walking over to our town's awesome market. Also, drinking outside. I really missed that last year.
@AshB62 I'm curious about the necklace, too. H usually grabs on to my tank top strap and pulls on it, which is a fun game, but probably not the best thing for my shirts.
7 1/2 weeks
2. Short term/ Long term goals:
ST - stop supplementing and build freezer stash
LT - nurse 1 year
3. Accomplishments / Struggles:
Between increased nursing, pumping, and supplementing O gained 9 oz in one week so there's improvement. I think we're still struggling a little bit with him re-learning his latch post-tongue clip. I need to see the LC again to do a weighed feeding. Second struggle is DH. He's trying to be nice and helpful but any time I leave the room or sleep and O cries he just gives him a bottle of formula. He doesn't seem to understand how that undermines my supply. Yes, I can replace that feed pumping but nursing first is probably better if I'm available.
4. EBF, EPing, Supplementing?:
A little of each.
5. Any questions this week?:
I had wondered about the necklaces too, so thanks for the info! I would also love to see lactation food recipes
6. GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity?
Drinking a beer on a warm summer night, especially next to a lake and/or listening to live music.
