Hi ladies, I hope everyone had a fairly easy week. Congrats on making it to the end of another week!!
*I'll only be posting one check-in for this weekend but please feel free to leave comments for both days if you'd like*
Also, I'm looking for someone to take over the Bedrest Check-in's. If you're interested please speak up, the check-in's really help to encourage and keep br moms connected with one another....
So... how did you sleep?
Any new pregnancy symptoms, cravings, or aversions?
Upcoming appointments, milestones, or updates? (Ticker change?)
QOTWknd: Have you and DH/SO chosen LO's name? Are you sharing the name choice with family and friends yet? Is it a family name or does it have significant meaning to you? What is the name you chose? Or names you are considering...
Open Topic: What's on your mind today?
Re: *** Weekend Bedrest Check-in ***
Upcoming appointments, milestones, or updates? (Ticker change?) My next follow up is in 5 days. I had a FFN test and it came back negative (I am currently 25 weeks). I am looking at 28 weeks as a milestone and then going in weekly increments after that. My goal is 35 weeks but ideally 37+. Like I said though, I am starting small and looking at 28 as my first goal
QOTWknd: Have you and DH/SO chosen LO's name? Are you sharing the name choice with family and friends yet? Is it a family name or does it have significant meaning to you? What is the name you chose? Or names you are considering... We have a name picked out. It is a family name, but that isn't why we chose it. We like classic names. This one will be Theodore (Theo as a nickname).
Open Topic: What's on your mind today? I am wondering how I am going to stay sane during bed rest. I am a very active person and this is so difficult for me. I am really hoping that things go well, and I get to have modified bed rest/possibly return to work. I doubt that will happen though unfortunately.
I'll continue to check in, but guess I'm not really on "bedrest" anymore.
Nothing much new. Slept ok until DS woke up puking at 5am, so hoping I don't catch it!!
I'm 37 weeks tomorrow, my last 17P was 6 days ago and should be wearing off. I had a nonreactive NST last Wed, BPP was ok, but I went up to 2x weekly NSTs. This week they are Tues/Fri, hoping he looks good! I'm doing lots of kick counts.
Still contracting like crazy and I kinda feel like the next 7-10 days will tell me a lot about whether these contractions are a whole lot of nothing or whether it's been the 17P keeping me pregnant... we'll see.
LO will be Liam Alexander. Liam is technically after my father William and Alexander is a name we liked. We told our parents, priest, and close friends when we asked for prayers when things got scary. We're holding off on telling everyone else till he's born.

I'm 34 weeks today, which is my first big milestone since being diagnosed with pre-e at 31 weeks! I'm pretty excited about that. Next goal will be 35 weeks so we can deliver at our preferred hospital with our midwife and then after that I'd love to make it to 37 weeks. My next appt is on Tuesday. I'm a little nervous because my blood pressures have been a little bit more labile, but still pretty good overall.
QOTD: we are naming our little guy Dexter James. My husband's name is Alex so I love the fact that Dexter has an "x" in it, but it's not too crazy of a name like some "x" names can be. We both just really love the name. James is a family name and for some reason I really like the nm jimmy although we probably won't ever call him that. We told our parents and our close friends the name, but haven't told too many other people. I always felt like it was a little weird to call my unborn child by name - like I might jinx something, or what if we changed our minds on what we'd call him? But I'm pretty much over that and we've been referring to him as Dexter for a couple weeks now.
Congrats @Fuccimama, @Sam0905, and @haziedaze on meeting some milestones this week!
Tomorrow morning I have my cerclage removed!! I'm a little nervous because I've heard it hurts like a mother! But I'm also excited because my Dr's been telling us that he thinks baby will be here soon after removal. T&P please!!
Commercial:)
**I'm still looking for someone who would be willing to take over the br check-in's. I know personally, that it really helped to stay connected with other women experiencing something similar to me especially when things looked impossible. Of course, whoever takes over can use their own format and can change whatever they like. If you're interested please let me know.**
QOTWknd: dh and i have had our LO's name picked out since Christmas but we haven't told anyone yet. As we get closer to delivery everyone has become more curious about her name. We plan on sharing it with everyone on her birth day:) but if y'all promise not to tell I'll let y'all know... her name is Zoie Love. Zoie (zoe) means life which we thought was fitting after we experienced two 2nd tri losses. Love was one of the two middle names we were considering until my Grandma suggested that we name her April Love..... at which point we knew that Love was destined to be lol.
