I know it's super normal to talk to baby while (s)he is in the womb, but I am having a hard time doing that and I don't know why. I always thought it would just be natural but I just feel like I'm talking to my stomach, which is like talking to my leg or something. I feel like a TERRIBLE person for feeling like this. Does anyone else have these feelings or have any ways to make it easier?

Re: Talking to baby?

Singing is definitely easier since I sing to myself and my son all the time, and I agree that baby will hear enough of your voice even if you don't talk directly to them. I also don't think they can hear at this point anyway, so we have some time!
I've always heard 20 weeks, I'll have to look that up
DH rubs my belly and say hello, but that's the gist of it. Still pretty cute
Do raspberries from babies siblings count! Bc that has happened a lot! Don't feel bad! Later on in the pregnancy it may come more naturally as you start to feel and see a lot of movement.
baby #3 arrived in September 2014...cannot get ticker to work no matter what I try!
Yes, there is nothing more obnoxious than a grown ass woman talking in baby talk to a child or a dog. Sorry if any of you do that...but stop doing it in public, it's not cute it's frightening.
