We are team green. Weve had a first name for a boy for a while Cooper. He will either be Cooper Jack (my husbands name is Jack) or Cooper Henry or Cooper Graham.
Girls we are at a total stale mate. I like Gwendolyn as a middle name (my grandmothers name) however for a first name we are stuck. My first choice was Haper but DH isnt a fan. His first choice was Scarlett, but I wasnt a fan. Other names Im kicking around:
Piper Lucy Tessa Beatrix Matilda Ava Finley
I love Piper. But I feel that since Orange is the New Black came out that Piper is going to get super trendy. But it's so stinkin cute.
Ugh I didnt even think about that. You are right though. :-) Piper is the only name we both have thought was ok. We'll see!
DH and I Married 11.12.10 First BPP 1.24.14 EDD 9.26.14 Baby Cooper John born on 9.24.14 6lbs9oz
Girls are harder. Our first is Isabella Victoria. DH wants Gabriella, but I think its too matchy. I want Caroline Elizabeth or Eleanor (middle name TBD), but DH isn't on board with either of those yet. I also like Allison, but it doesn't go with our last name as well in my opinion.
cary grant = mans name. I know Carrie may be a girls name. but if I saw Cary. I would NOT think girl. idk. I guess I don't like it when people say OOOH that's a girls name, when it's clearly a unisex name.. or different spellings belong to different genders.
I hear Cary & think girl because I'm surrounded by middle schoolers all day. They would not think unisex. They are mean and cruel. I would not set my kid up for that.
Overgeneralize much? This is why kids are so distrustful of adults. Let's just lump them all into one big mean category.
Some of my middle school kids are named Athin, Rowby, Logan (girl), temperance , Zenobia , Shane spelled Cheyne... Those are just kids from today's classes. They don't get made fun of.

I let DH have most the say in names because I named our first. Aubrey Diana for a girl and Nathan Joseph for a boy. I'm not wild about Aubrey, but his other choices were awful.
I love Aubrey that's what DDs name is. But her is Aubrey Michelle

Yeah, I agree. The names kids have these days, Cary is no worse than anything else. I've known a couple males named Cary (both while I was in school) and never thought anything about it.
We are team Green and like last time we have agreed on a boy name right away, Owen and I think middle name will be Lee but not finalized. And we cant agree on a girl name.
We are team green and names we both like are extremely few and far between! We have no boys name so far and just last night found the first girl's name we both like which is Verity. Nothing at all set in stone yet.
My dd's are Charlotte Evelyn and Amelia Louise. We don't know (undecided about team green) but for a girl I like Fiona Jane (or Fiona Josephine) and for a boy we are talking about George, Henry or Seamus.
Shelby and Stacy were both originally male names. This is why I have issues with people using male names for females. Once a name goes to the girls, it eventually can't be used by boys (who it was originally intended for) without them being made fun of or everybody saying, "That's a girl name!" This then leaves boys with a smaller and smaller pool of names, which leads to crappy made up names. Girls have plenty of beautiful name options without stealing from the guys.
Team blue here. It is like pulling teeth trying to get DH to talk names. So far possibilities are Owen or Wes (probably Weston). I really like Wes so hoping I can convince DH.
We have more girls names that we like than boy names. They aren't all weird, but I am not ready to post them as they aren't very traditional and certainly not narrowed down yet. Also, we are team green and will probably come up with something completely different once the baby arrives!
I'll be your not very traditional name friend. I like uncommon names.
Ok so Ds1 is Rocco (IV) and DS2 is Vincent (Vinny). Both family names. This time we are having a hard time deciding on either. DH likes the super italian names while I'm over here all Irish complexed ... Both boys are blonde haired blue eyed and fair. It's cute but come on Vincenzo wouldn't fly. So far we like: Boy: DH likes: Anthony, Christopher, Mario I like: Jerrod, Thomas (tommy), Benjamin (Benny) But I'm not really in love with any of them.
Girls: Anna Marie Rose Marie Giavanna or Gia One other that I love but am shy to share it as it is a little different.

I have two friends that are married - one is super Italian and one is Puerto Rican. Their son is named Gianlucca and I love that name! I lthink it's super cool when people use their culture/heritage/religion in naming their child. Don't be afraid to share!
We stick to Biblical names, like my parents did with me and my siblings, and so far, Old Testament names at that.
After naming two boys, I still have several favorites: Gabriel, Ezekiel, Asher, Amos, Jacob, Micah, Silas, Titus & Abram.
But, girls are a complete different story. We picked Miriam over Elise [which is a stretch], and literally have no options.
I have always loved the name Abram! For old testament girl names, Miriam is my favorite but I also love the names Esther and Naomi. I know a family that has girls named Miriam and Naomi and I always thought they went together really well.
DH'S middle name is Ellery which he loves as a girls name (but hates it as his own mn) and has convinced me it's a good girls name. We're thinking Ellery Elizabeth with Ellie as a nickname.
I also told him that if the girl is named after him the boys name is named after me (Heather) so we're going with Heath and either Alexander or Andrew as a middle name.

Oook I really like Sunny. Just not sure if it should formally be Santina and "sunny" as a nick name or just Sunny. Side note: some family used to call me little miss sunshine haha so it'd be a spin off that sort of. Also I love anything full if light. I might be able to pull it off for a boy too as Santino and Sonny as a nick name (think god father). But I don't think DH would go for it.

We found out we are team pink through our Harmony results and it took us about a week to agree on a name but we finally did! Our little girl will be Annabeth Lynn R******.
@SmarieMcB84 We have very similar taste in names! Gia was my girl name if DS was a girl. This LO will be Santino if a boy. Still not sure of a girl name due to Gia being too close to DS's name.
Yes we do haha. Here are some girl name ideas. These are cousins and in laws with these names I always thought were pretty too: Deena, Gianna, Angel, Francheska
I also like Ruby, Joy, Summer. (hubs turned these down)

We still have a long 5 weeks to wait for the US. We're pretty set on Bennett Scott for a boy. DH really likes Clara for a girl. I like it too but I still have other names on my list and we probably won't decide on a middle name until she's born because we can't seem to agree on anything right now! I'm hoping it'll all be more clear when we see the baby
We're keeping the boy name we decided on when I was preggo with #1. If we have a boy his name will be Bentley J. J is FIL's middle name, and also the first initial of my dad's name.
For a girl we haven't completely decided yet. We like Kinsley, Kirra, and Teagan, and we like the middle name Ember. I personally think Kirra Ember sounds too stripper-esque though, so I'll probably cross that one out! I really liked Avery and Geneva, but FI doesn't .
We found out we are team blue on Wednesday, and came up with a long list of names. The fact that we even have a list is an accomplishment in itself. So far we have Hunter, Trent, Blake, Garrett, Jarrett, Alexander, Austin, Travis, Chase, Miles, Gavin, Grant, Cole, and Chance.
Reid is my current favorite. DH has no strong feelings towards any of the names at the moment. We have a little while, so I'm sure we'll come to an agreement.

I think we've decided, but as of right now, we're not telling anyone until birth (except strangers on Internet forums). Anyone else not sharing the name?
Our little girl will be Camille Kennedy J****.
I think we're 100% on first name. I still have a small bit of hesitancy on the middle name because of the C and K sounds together. But so far that's really the only middle name I like.
cary grant = mans name. I know Carrie may be a girls name. but if I saw Cary. I would NOT think girl. idk. I guess I don't like it when people say OOOH that's a girls name, when it's clearly a unisex name.. or different spellings belong to different genders.
When I saw Cary, the first thing I thought was Cary Grant. I definitely am fine with unisex names. My husband (James), however, has issues with it after being called Jamie his whole life. He rejected all of my girl names that are also boy names.

I like Camille Kennedy, and don't think the C and K sound bad together. Those are my initials (after marrying DH), and I kind of like that my first and last names are an alliteration.
We're thinking Colton Trevor but can't decide on the spelling Colton or Colten??
Colton was on our boy list when we had DD...love it.

Yes, we LOVE IT! There was no argument or discussion over the name at all. I feel like its one of those lost names because I've only met one Colton my entire life. Glad to know others appreciate it, (:
We aren't officially discussing until we find out in 3 weeks.. But some names we have agreed on is girl- Wren, Scarlett . boys- Logan, Miles. H is a III, so it's possible we will use his name for a IV, but we are undecided.
