XP: Rec your jogging stroller

Anyone have a jogging stroller they really love?  I'm leaning toward BOB since I know they're popular and well-rated, but even within that brand there are multiple options.  I'd be running with a 70lbs lab on a waist leash as well (if there are any thoughts on adding that to the mix).

  • I have the Baby Trend Expedition. I've put some serious miles on the stroller. I like that it has the cup holder in front for the baby and also one for the parents. The only thing I dislike is it's big when folded and pretty heavy to get in and out of the car. I do like the option of locking or unlocking the wheel.

  • PS- my sister got a double Bob for her twins and it's pretty amazing. You can literally steer it with one hand and my sister says it's pretty light.

  • My mom got me the Schwinn Arrow jogging stroller for my birthday.  I like it so far.  It is a less money than a Bob (I think around $200).  I really have no complaints with it.  It has two cupholders and something to store your keys in and tons of storage space.  I really like the color.  I've had a hard time getting used to the fixed wheel in a jogging stroller as I have an Uppababy Vista baby regular stroller which is AMAZING and I would just prefer to jog with that, but as far as jogging strollers go, it seems pretty nice.

  • I have a Bob and it is the best baby gear item I bought.  It is the bomb!  Nothing compares.  Its light, its maneuverable, its east to fold up and unfold, I take it everywhere and it moves so easy in and out of stores while shopping.  Its the greatest....now I need a double and Im torn on spending the $$ on the Bob double.

  • The BOB Revolution is the way to go.   You can lock the wheel when you run and unlock it for daily use.  I had a jogger with a fixed wheel and it was horrible for anything but running.  I'm assuming you currently run with your dog on a waste leash?  I can't imagine doing this with my dog, but I guess if he's very well trained it's doable.  I'd be really nervous about him pulling or running at something and me losing control of the stroller.
  • We were looking at the BOB stroller, but it was way too much money to justify foe me... We ended up getting the Joovy Zoom 360 for less than $200 w/ a 20% BBB coupon. I LOVE it. The front wheel can be fixed or it can spin. We use it regularly on both paved and unpaved surfaces and it handles like a dream. My only complaint is that it's a little heavier than I'd like.

This is what I ended up ordering with a BRU coupon! I'm super excited for it to arrive, glad to hear someone suggesting it :)

I have this one too. I like it, but it's freakishly tall. Thank goodness the window on the hood is gigantic, I have to use it to steer and see where I'm going. I've only used it once or twice though as my son hates strollers.

How tall are you nana?  I'm 5'8" and my husband is 6'0" so I would rather err toward tall anyways... DD would live in the stroller if I let her, so I don't think we'll have your use issue :P

I'm 5'6" and don't have any issues with seeing over it. I actually like the height of it. The only time I've had issues is when we've tried to use it at our super busy farmers market... I've crashed into a few ankles/achilles/curbs while trying to navigate the crowd.
