I didn't try to join. I had no interest in the FB group then, nor do I now. That said, I do not believe I would've between accepted. IMO, it was made quite clear that it was intended for a select few rather than the many.

I totally understand people's frustrations but sometimes I feel like it's a dig at my because I left for a bit and I am in a FB group. I probably read too much into it but it makes me wonder.

I'm not calling you out. I've said before, if you're going to call someone out, just do it. No passive aggression from me. You participate regularly and consistently have.

I'm referring to posters who left a year or so ago, NEVER contribute to board topics, then show up when shit is dramatic enough for them to throw a random love tit or snarky remark. If you're looking for names Beachy and Nola specifically come to mind, but there were others present yesterday whose sn's I don't specifically recall.

@beaubecca You're totally right about buying into the drama. It just really annoys me that they all think we're dying for them to come back and most of us aren't. At all.

@KateRN08 My comment was definitely not directed at you. I vaguely remember you taking some breaks but I've always considered you an active poster. When I made the comment about "posting both places", I was thinking of you and Shank because I remember you both saying you had joined a FB group at some point.

I thought it was quite obvious who I was referring to but I don't want to be vague either...so basically all the unrecognizable Love Its on that unicorn pic yesterday, the intro today, and then people who disappear as randomly as they appeared like blueeyedwhatever.

Also, 2nd confession...I didn't know Alex Trebek was Canadian.

The way I see it is pertaining to the posters that ditched us for good. Back in the newborn stage is all a fuzzy blur to me so as far as I am concerned you are very prominent on this board even if you took a break.

@maymomNY‌ I'm originally from Upstate too but my town is so small and no one have ever heard of it so I just say the City because I moved there at 17 until I was 23.

Edit: this is another confessions. DH, R, the dogs and I went away for the weekend. The car ride was awful, when we got there the place lost our reservation and R started violently throwing up again. We finally got him to sleep but we're all stuck in one room so we can't have the tv/lights on. I lost my wine glass somewhere but I can't try to find it so I just took the bottle and am chugging away and catching up on here. I'm off the the hi-ya girls thread. Says I have 117 messages to read.

I'm from the Capital District which I consider upstate. I don't really count anything lower than Newburgh though. Where you are is the North Country (but still Upstate). I also don't like it when people from Syracuse on west use Upstate. That is Central and Western NY
