I was just curious when you stopped taking progesterone? Did you do shots the whole time or switch to suppositories?

My dr's office offered for me to switch from shots, but I don't find them that bad and I broke out in a rash from the suppositories. They also said I could be on them for anywhere from 8-12 weeks!

My RE switched me from shots to suppositories at 8 weeks. I continued the suppositories until the end of the 1st trimester.

I was on shots til 13 weeks. I was offered supps but I hated them and immediately went back to shots!

I was on both (PIO in the morning, suppositories at night) until 10w when I stopped the shots. I carried on with the suppositories until 13w3d.

I've been on suppositories and was told to stop at about 11 weeks. I will then be monitored, and if my cervix shortens, then I will be put on shots (apparently, these are different than the ones that are given during 1st trimester)
