Ok ladies, hopefully this will help us all get to know each other, through side eyeing and judging!

I'll start, I told a Facebook friend I was pregnant before I told H.

Sorry that's not very juicy, I am saving the real good stuff for when we've all settled.

100% agree. I had an emergency c-section with our LO and will be scheduling a c-section for baby #2.

Glad to know I'm not alone. When I've said this to some friends, they've been like, "You're not even going to try for a vbac? Don't you want to experience a vaginal delivery?"

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, right there with you all.

I'm irrationally afraid of vomit/vomiting. When I was little I would cry and my heart would race if someone talked about vomiting.

I haven't been nauseous yet but I already have barf bags (from the barf boutique) stashed everywhere-- in my purse, my car, my desk at the office. Just in case.

I ended up slipping and told a coworker who wasn't even a friend. She observed me teaching and had some harsh criticisms (she picks at everyone) and I startingbawling hysterically. I felt and overwhelming need to let her know I'm not crazy (my mother had me tested), that I can normally take criticism very well.

I'm still peeing on sticks. Not going to stop until the test line in remarkably darker than the control line. Since I won't get a blood test it's my only way of knowing things are progressing. After this morning I should be there soon!

My laundry is out of control. I have a huge laundry basket and it is overflowing at this point. When I get home from work, I'm so tired I can barely move much less think about laundry. I either have to find the energy to do laundry soon or I'm going to be going without clothes.

I told my Internet TB bffs (the original wp) about my bfp a whole day before I told mh. My poor husband is always like the 3rd or 4th to know. Even with #1 and #2 I called my mom, my best friend, then I told him. He's never as excited and shocked with me as others are. I mean he is but it's not as fun as the girls going squeee!! 11!! 1!

i don't have an irrational fear, but i hate it. i'll sit completely stationary on the couch in misery all day long just to keep from puking, even if i know that puking will make me feel better. i hate puking that much.

i'm also a terrible housekeeper, which is awesome (sarcasm) considering i'm a SAHM. the place is always cluttered and needs vacuuming, and laundry sits in the baskets until the next week when i HAVE to fold it because i need the baskets. why do chores when there's so much fun stuff to do? lol

Me too. I'm so glad I'm not alone here. My sister was being bitchy when I showed her the first test saying, "well, I've had negative tests that look like that." I think it's my way of constantly reassuring myself. Plus, I LOVE seeing the word PREGNANT in plain English in that little stick.

My husband is out of town for three weeks. I asked my mom to come stay with me for part of that time. I told her I have scheduling conflicts with the nanny and need help watching DD. I lied. I don't. I'm just so bloody tired I want to sleep and I'm hoping she'll do my laundry and cook meals. She arrives tomorrow. I haven't told her the big news yet. I'm a horrible person. I don't care. I need sleep.

^^This!! I decided to go out and buy more laundry hampers. We have some for the dirty clothes nobody feels like washing, and a few for the clean clothes nobody feels like putting away. i've totally upgraded from the spare room I would use to house all the laundry. Now it holds all the hampers full of laundry.... I admit to forgetting the clean vs dirty ones a few times.

we got 8" of snow overnight (heavy wet stuff). it's already above freezing and is supposed to be every day for the foreseeable future, so i shoveled the sidewalks, the porches, the end of the driveway between the sidewalk and the street, and a little area around the car after cleaning it off. then i said, fuck it, rest can melt in it's own time.

This is probably lame, but its my first FFFC - I made chicken noodle soup last week and DD (10 months) was getting cranky, so I peeled and washed a carrot for her to suck on (supervised!) I was going to throw it away but there weren't enough carrots in the soup for my liking, so I chopped it up and threw it in. Kind of gross, but it got boiled!

@longcat07‌ I knew it as a boy/androgynous name as well before I chose it. But it sounded feminine to me. She owns her name though. Once we get to know each other more you will hear all kinds of wacky divarific shit she does. She has a huge personality, very spirited.
