I've got two I can think of today........ - I have not sterilized anything of lo since about 6 weeks old. - I have not masterbated since before lo was born (so at least 16 weeks) but I think about it every day.

@SSS - I got in a fight with a duck once. I kicked that fuckers ass. It charged me when I was out running and without even thinking I kicked it in the chest. It still weirds me out that that was my instinct instead of, say, continuing to run around it.
FFFC1: My daughter is nearly 4 months old and I still have moments where I'm like, "Holy Crap, I'm a mom? WTF? I have a baby? What?" It's still kind of surreal.
Dude, I was just thinking about this yesterday! I was looking at Simon and thinking, woah, you're my son! TBH, most days I kind of feel like I'm just babysitting, except I love him way more than anyone else's kid.
The baby is sleeping and my five year old doesn't have school on Fridays. Good opportunity to do something wholesome together but I'm on my phone and he's on the iPad. At least we are cuddled together on the couch. Quality parenting will resume later. Hopefully.
Pitty Party FFFC: Even though I've been pretty active on the board for a few months, I still feel like an outsider since I wasn't around after first tri. I'm jealous of the relationships that were established and feel like its too late for me to get back in.
If it makes you feel better, I've been around since almost the beginning, and still feel the same way. Outsiders unite!
@Superspecialsnowflake Can you suggest life-sized cut outs of wolves to post around the grounds? This worked for one of our buildings. I'm not even a little bit joking.

LoL, the thing is, I actually like geese (and ducks!) and I know that if I did actually punt that mofo across the parking lot that I would immediately feel bad about it, and hope that I didn't actually hurt it. So conflicted!
Was the duck okay?
I hope so? I kicked it all the way off the path and back to its nest in the grass. It grunted after I kicked it. I don't think ducks are supposed to grunt. All the guilt is coming back.

We'll start our own clique.

I think it's weird that people are so worried about 'fitting in' with a message board. As long as you're not a total ass hat everyone is pretty nice, what more are you looking for? Also, I recognize a lot of the people saying they don't feel like they belong, so I think you're overthinking it!!
There was some breastmilk that got on my hand today while breaking down the pump. I looked at it. It looked at me. I licked it off my hand. Yup, I did. It was super sweet, like strawberry milk. I see why he likes it.

Two nights in a row baby was up every two hoUrs. Two mornings in a rowwhen five yo came to wake me (her habit her whole life) I snapped at her. Mommy is tired and crabby but I feel like a bitch for taking it out on my first baby.

Talk about guilt - I accidentally ran over a bunch of baby ducks on the highway. They were all huddled around something and I think the mom was trying to get them to cross. There were at least 4-5 of them. I called my mom a little bit hysterical, crying and everything. I felt so bad but there was nothing I could do.
Chicago peeps: On 55 South, right after crossing the Des Plaines River, if you're ever there and want to see my baby duck chalk outlines.
Dude. I like nearly all animals but birds and I do not get along. I swear to god, I still have dreams about this stupid goose from my childhood that bruised the shit out of my shin. Evil bastard. T&p's for you, @superspecialsnowflake
When my mom was little she was out playing on her farm (in Croatia) and a duck bit her butt and wouldn't unlatch!!! She ran screaming to her house, with said duck attached to her butt, and my grandpa had to chop it off her. Poor duck. Whatcha gonna do when it's attached to your child's ass and could really hurt her or worse? She was bruised for weeks and tells that story to everyone! Needless to say, she hates ducks! T&Ps to you too @bay511
My brother was attacked by a duck at the zoo when we were little. Like, @MBMO2 's mom, it bit him on the butt and wouldn't let go. My mom had to hit it with an umbrella to get it off. I'm sure it was a traumatizing day for all the other kids watching.
I get being tired but I think people should make an effort for sex. The first year we had DD was rough on our marriage, one of the things was lack of sex. Husbands who wake their wives up should not be rewarded but other than that I think ladies should try. My husband is much more helpful and in a way better mood when his sexual needs are taken care of.
My husband and I got up together to put DD1 on the school bus and promptly went back to bed to snuggle for a while longer. Now I'm just hoping I can come up with some motivation to actually get something done today.

I'm so guilty of this and I need to get better. Ben is finally sleeping well so being tired isn't really an excuse I'm just having a really hard time getting in sexy-mode from mommy-mode.
@superspecialsnowflake I would have pulled over and helped. I did it once to save a turtle that was flipped on its back in the middle of the road. I admit I have issues. I mean an expressway or interstate road no but a regular one even a busy one. Yes. But I agree while pregnant it was probably best to keep moving. I would have cried too.
It totally is!!!!!!! If ever in line at say a gas station and somebody has an emergency I totally know what to do based off my GA addiction. Real story when LO was 4 days old I had a life/death thing happen. While in the tub and bleeding my thought was "what would X do"? It kept me calm enough to keep my husband calm while he was getting instructions from the 911 operator and to keep my two oldest in the hallway from going BSC. Obviously I can't perform brain surgery but I feel in minor things it has helped
I'm dying to get more tattoos I got one after Kaiden was born to make my total 5 but I have two more I really want and the next one I want is quite large. I have a serious problem.
There were some teenage boys playing football right outside my front garden and they kept kicking their ball into the garden and knocking off the heads off my daffodils. They eventually got the ball stuck in our hedge and all 4 of the were climbing into my hedge to get this ball. DH turned on the sprinklers and soaked the boys. Mwhahhaa
Sometimes when I wash my hands, I pretend like I'm scrubbing in for brain surgery.
I watch way too many Grey's Anatomy reruns.
I watch like 3 hours of Grey's Anatomy a day. Luke watches it with me...can we pretend it is educational?
I've gotten my husband sucked into it! We dvr the 3 reruns a day that are on and then watch them every evening. It's the only show that's "my" show he's ever been into and I love it.
Dh and I went to a heavy metal/rap/rock concert last (nms of music, but a friend of ours is the drummer in the headling band, so we wanted to see him). I took my kids with. I guess my confession is that I am "that woman" who always has her kids. I just don't think that a lot of things really warrant getting a sitter . where some people never do anything because they have kids, Dh and I just throw in the stroller and take them... We only call a sitter if its intended to be a date night or if it has been specified that its for adults only.
I think LO had a pretty good time....
Eta- Christian concert, so no alcohol/potentially dangerous crowd situations. I held LO and DS1 was on DH's shoulders
I came into work today and notice immediately that someone messed around with my desk. My computer was moved, my cup and coaster were moved, and they put the keyboard stands up on 1 side of the keyboard. I'm a little disgruntled about that...I guess they thought since I wasn't here I wouldn't mind if someone else used my computer? I dont know...But my confession is, I just pulled out the Clorox wipes to wipe off my keyboard and phone...because.... germs......................
This happened during my mat. leave. My first day back, I spent the whole morning cleaning and re-organizing my office. I guess in my absence, our front desk computer had gone down and my computer was used to access network files for print. I was super annoyed. I am anal about my workspace
Yum! No flames here. Ive eaten an entire loaf of banana bread to myself in the last two days.
oh man...you guys are making me want alllll the foods! Also I have a soft spot in my heart for donuts. They're building a Krispy Kreme in my town & I've been waiting for it to finally open for like for.e.ver.!
This happened yesterday but I thought it was funny. I do all our food shopping online. I really wanted a Chinese last night but DH said no. So I booked the delivery time to after 8pm. I got my Chinese.
When "new regs" post fucking novels... I can't read that shit. I just can't!
I don't consider myself a "reg" by any definition of the word- but i am super guilty of this... I am notorious for multiple page text messages as well...
