I'm up! No surprises there. Abby got 5.5 hours of sleep. She went down in the mini crib really easily. She must have woke up at some point because I woke up with her on me!!! The scary part is, I have no idea when I picked her up and brought her to bed!!!! That's bad! She's changed and fed. I put her back down but those eyes pooped right open and she was fighting sleep. I could have left her to see if she would fall back to sleep on her own but I know on me, it takes a minute. Which it did. She is out. I didn't want to hear the crying or her to wake dh. I'm wide awake so I will be able to put her down in a few.

Weekend plans moms? DH's bday was Wednesday so we are going out to dinner with his mom and sister Saturday. Then to another friend's bday party for a little bit. It will be a long day for Abby but hopefully fun. She is becoming such a fun tiny little person! I love showing her off!

Re: MOTN

  • DH is also a birthday boy this week! We'll do something this weekend but I'm not sure what...

LO slept 9-3:30 which is our longest stretch ever, woo hoo!

  • I'm up, for the second time tonight. DD has already started teething and it's really thrown her feeding and sleeping for a loop. She slept 8-1, then 1:30-3:45. We'll bed share until my alarm goes off at 5:15 so we can both get some sleep; it takes about 20 minutes to get her down after a feeding.

Weekend plans: Saturday will be rainy, so that will be our day to relax and I have to do report cards. Sunday is my cousin's daughter's birthday party, so we'll do our weekly shopping trip and go to the party. Should be a good weekend!

  • We're up. Levi slept 10-3:30 with one arm out of his swaddle! Woohoooo! I'm an excited mommy over here.
This weekend I'm headed to a babywearing class and will hopefully leave with some good information.

  • I'm up for a second time. Switching from RNP to crib has been a little rough, but last night he only got up at 2 and then now. So some progress.

This weekend we are celebrating DD's second birthday!!!!! I'm throwing her a Minnie Mouse party. We are both super excited. She caught a glimpse of some wrapped gifts yesterday and squealed, "presents!" over and over!
  • @tarajeannette‌ and @Rojovol34‌ I forget who shared this site with me but it is great sleep info. It has a suggestion for the night owl babies so thought I'd share.

After the MOTN feed, it took another hour to try and get us both back to sleep. I kept putting Abby down and she kept waking up. She wouldn't go to sleep on her own and I couldn't soothe her to sleep either so she ended up sleeping on me another 3 hours. Grrrr! She was really gassy when I changed her so I'm sure that was part of the problem. Oh well, will try it all again tonight!!
