Ds sees my mom a fair amount. Yesterday, I was singing a song my mom taught me. Ds sang the next two lines. There was no way he could've known the song.

I am certain our last house was haunted. We would hear all sorts of things (knocks, cups moving, a candle got knocked off of a shelf).

Then when i was younger and we moved into our house (with my parents) i saw a young girl and boy on a tire swing in the front yard. There was a nanny with them and they were all dressed as though they were Amish or something. My mom never did any research that i know of but after telling the story many times and asking about it my parents had the tree cut down. I never saw them again.

Also i frequently have dreams of relatives and friends who have passed. Usually we carry on conversations about current events and I almost always know they are deceased (you know how dreams can be tricky). Once i had a dream of a friend that passed and he kept saying you have to wake up now... over and over. Turns out i was late for work and my alarm was going off.

Before he was two, he told us we needed to go buy bubble lights for the Christmas tree. Those were my mom's favorite. He also somehow picked up the Chicken Dance song. My mom and I battled because I refused to have it played at my wedding. She got the last laugh.

I have went to sleep in hopes of seeing some of my deceased family/friends. A lot of times it was when i wanted to ask something or give them news.

I would not put it past me!! LOL last pregnancy I kept having dreams it was a girl never saw the baby just pink blankets ect. Then one night i dreamed of my gramma and she said she had spoken to her brother Jack....

We had a boy and we named him jackson.... just saying.

and i really don't think i'm KTFU but i hope your right!!

Haha I'm scared of ghost or whatever you want to call it. I went to Whaley House in 4th grade and I had nightmares for months after. you could see cigar smoke and perfume in the house. I also looked in a room and saw a curtain move and no one could go into the room. We also went to the garden and you could hear small children laughing.

DD was playing in my friend's backyard last summer and talking to the air. I asked who she was talking to and she said Mommy's friend Sarah. I had a friend named Sarah who committed suicide in 2006, but I didn't think anything of it. The next morning she was acting like she was playing with someone and when we asked again she said Mommy's friend Sarah. Another friend lived in a haunted house and also knew Sarah so she came over and her DH showed DD pictures of them, their relatives, people that come in photo frames and a picture of Sarah. DD pointed and said Mommy's friend Sarah. My friend went up to DD's room and said that she felt someone who was sad, yet oddly familiar. Assuming that it was Sarah. When we asked DD to tell us about Mommy's friend she said that she was a big girl, had black hair and slept in a blue car. Sarah was 1/2 Korean and had black hair and her casket is blue. We asked if she could tell us anything else and the looked to her left (we assumed she was talking to Sarah) and she said that her room was baby blue and yellow. DD had just turned 2 and definitely didn't know what baby blue was. Sarah's room as baby blue when she was alive and then after she died her parents painted it yellow.

She hasn't woken up at night since and the shadows are gone. Sarah's around still though.

LOL! We thought about it. DH was terrified once things started moving and she had actual marks. Almost 3 months since anything else has happened. We might start looking once our lease is closer to being up.

You're a mind reader @JackoftheBox that's exactly what she did. She cleansed our whole house, but specifically spent more time cleansing her room. House smelled like sage for a week.

I find this stuff very interesting. I have went to a couple seminars and done a lot of research. I was told once that we all have a supernatural gift that we just have to develop. Now while i'm not saying i can move things with my mind or make a potion for love. I have had some medium experiences.

The wiccan priestess who married our friends sent us all kinds of information and things because she think DD might have some medium gifts or at least she can see/communicate with spirits. Can you recommend anything for us to read? We don't know a lot about it and what we do know came from our friends and the priestess that they know.

I took many psychology classes in college. Our professor was a Buddhist. We had many talks together. I tap into more of a dream state. So mostly the books i have read are on that. I have also read a religions of the world book that helps you when you are in these "states." I also keep a rosary close to my bed side. The only other things i have researched are sage cleansings. I have also wanted to look in to the tarot.

When i googled i found a book called "Is your child psychic?" this might help.

Thanks, we'll check amazon for the book. She now has a few rosaries and some blessed medals hanging above her bed just in case.

Those are both good ideas. I also keep a few religious icons that have been blessed in our home. They are suppose to deter harmful spirits from being there.

It was such a spur of the moment thing, but I'm glad I went. Ed Warren has since passed away, but maybe Lorraine still does speaking engagements.

After watching the conjuring i was completely freaked out to know that there really was an Annabelle doll. Even more creeped out b/c i love raggedy ann...

I'm chiming in a little bit late but i couldn't resist. I have had experiences my whole life. My grandparents house, the house i grew up in is haunted. I've seen objects move, get deliberately knocked over, heard the doors slamming, etc. on a frequent basis. it's a split level house and its only the things that happen on the very bottom level that make me uncomfortable. My grandma and I both saw a little boy as clear as day look at us and turn and run up the stairs; but the odd thing is he wasn't in color, he looked grey scale like in an old movie. A lot of days the smell of breakfast cooking will be so strong it'll wake you up but when you get up to chow down its really only like 2AM and no ones awake. But yet even more weird it's like whatever "they" are only target certain people. All the women in my family have felt, heard and/or seen but my brother and grandpa swear we're crazy. My husband is terrified of it I think lol. And when I would have friends over most of them wouldn't feel comfortable staying all night and would end up leaving; and not because i would fill them up with ghost stories they would just say they "don't feel right". As soon as i became pregnant but didnt know yet I heard a child's voice say "mama" to me when I was alone.

Also, my mom had a friend when I was growing up who did tarot and taught my mom who then taught me, in hindsight at wayyyy to young of an age to be doing anything like that. I really feel like it made me more "in tune" if you will but I had a series of odd occurrences and stopped, and at this point my husband has no idea about this and I dont think he could accept it if i started it again. But I've always been really drawn to those types of things. I did and still do a lot of aura reading and energy exercises, which I really enjoy.

Sorry this turned into a book! I'm just very into the paranormal, I find it so interesting!

Oh my gosh I LOVE all these stories. I get scared at the stupidest stuff, so I would probably freak out if I had an experience, but that doesn't change that I never get tired of hearing about stuff like this. Maybe ironically, I've often wished I had more of a sense of the unseen.
