  I am still trying to finish up a birth record cross stitch project for my Goddaughter who turns 1 today. No way I will finish in time. After I finish that, I will tackle one for baby. Those things are soooo time-consuming though. They take me many months to complete.

  I started on a bucilla felt Christmas stocking for DD about 4 months ago and am only a quarter of the way through it. Hoping to finish before this Christmas then I need to start another one for the new baby. I'll do mine and DH's hopefully before this baby starts middle school, lol.

  I bought some small wooden mustaches and top hats for the mobile that I'm making. I just need to figure out what color I'm going to paint it or just leave. And if course drill holes and put it together. I'll probably start next week when I get back from my trip.

  I made a minky blanket, and I plan on making on ombre mobile kinda like yours, actually, but with ribbon and tulle and the dots will be butterflies instead.

  Your mobile inspired me, and I'm making owl mobile (that's our theme).  How do you plan on hanging yours so that it's not awkward looking?

  salsy2012 I love it!  Beautiful colors. I hope your cats stop being obsessed, but it's funny that they are into it.  My dog is the same way with yarn.  

  
  I just finished a snuggle sack and matching hat.  Here's a picture of the hat as well as the snuggle sack when it was in progress (it's mostly done now, although I need to sew in a zipper and attach buttons).  

  
  

  I also made a quilt (but it's for a friend's baby, not mine yet!).  Photos attached too since I'm already being an AW. I really love fiber and fabric but my skills kind of suck when it comes to paper stuff. Makes the mobile all the more impressive to me!

  Yes they are all 2 in ... michaels has a circle press. It made cutting the circles so easy. Stringing them was the hard part!

  Awhhh, I love your guys' mobiles!  I finally finished the owl one.  This is an awful picture because I was trying to hold it and make sure the owls were facing the camera LOL  Still trying to decide if I want to make the second one or just hang this in the corner somewhere too.

  That would be fun ... Michael's may have a starfish shaped punch out that you could use with the circles or instead of the circles!

  The empty wall to your left is where the crib will be going. I hung the mobile across the room because I know that my cats would be little ass hats and try to get it if I hung it above the crib. I plan on putting the dresser along the right wall (where the bed frame is now- ignore that!) and then a chair/ottoman under the mobile (not directly under it- again because of the ass hat cats). My nursery is pitiful, sorry! We don't have anything set up yet!

  @stoofewok, I made a mobile (different from salsy's), but I just got it up this week over the crib (before modified bed rest---thank goodness).  I found a mobile attachment arm at BRU, and it helped!

  Awh, thanks!  I'm just glad we got a jump start on the nursery before the MBR!  MBR pretty much sucks...I'm incredibly bored and then freak myself out about trying to keep my heart rate down LOL Next appointment that we'll know anything about growth is at 24 weeks---I think that one is April 30...I have wayyyy to many appointments!

  This week, I have a cervical length and amniotic fluids check on Wednesday, and we have their fetal echo on Friday.  I keep up with my appointments week by week.  LOL
