Here's my first UO: It makes me really nervous when I see pix of framed artwork, shelves, or other heavy objects on the wall above cribs in the nursery photo thread. I've lived in Southern California my whole life so earthquakes are always on my mind when it comes to decorating. I just can't imagine putting anything that's not a decal or lightweight over baby's crib. But I get it, not everyone has to worry about earthquakes, and I'm a bit jealous of the decorating freedom.
These people that make maternity clothes can kiss my wide ass. I just went and tried on a really cute dress which had the opposite effect, I looked like the tent you would want to have the circus under. I then proceeded to try on some shorts and ended up looking like a damn Boy Scout troop mom. Not knocking, maybe I'll be one some day but TODAY ISNT THAT DAY IF THAT'S EVEN A THING. So I just got another maxi skirt & got myself some BBQ, Mac n cheese & some sweet tea and I'm gonna eat it all then twirl around in my maxi skirt. Cause, ya know...exercise.
I don't understand maternity clothes that are really low cut or don't account for extra boobage. Every single pregnant woman has bigger boobs when pregnant, why don't the clothes get designed around that fact.
I now have TWO maternity shirts that I bought that I was never able to wear because they are cut like normal freaking shirts. One, the boob is super low cut, and it's not that I needed a bigger size, it's just cut weird. The other shrank something ridiculous when I washed it and now it doesn't cover my belly. WTF guys, it's not rocket science. If you are going to market something as 'maternity' then make it fit right.
I. Hate. Mobile. Bumping. HATE.
I love my animals, but I cannot handle them inside. I freak out about pet hair/dirt/etc. In other peoples homes, I don't care about it in the least. My house?? Nope. Not happening. Did I mention MIL has a hairy ass old cat and a fat freaking annoying 45 lbs Bichon IN MY HOUSE?!
Can't do licky dogs. Can't. Grosses me out. Love dogs. Hate dog kisses. I saw you lick your asshole two seconds ago, dog, keep that tongue in your mouth.
Rain makes me happy.
Maternity clothes/stores/racks are the devil. The expensive ass, ugly, ill fitting devil.
45 lb Bichon!? Yikes....that is a fat freaking dog! I have a yorkie/bichon mix and she weighs about 8 lb!
Kissing dogs on the lips is just gross. I find it almost equally as yucky when I see kids kiss their parents on the lips. Maybe just because I didn't grow up doing it, but kisses on the lips are for DH. Kissing my kids...cheeks please! My daughter has picked up kissing on the lips from someone (actually now that I think about it, my sister and BIL kiss their kids on the lips, and kissed C on the lips last time we saw them), and now she keeps trying to bring me in a kiss on a lips. I don't want it, I find it icky. I side eye my own sister for it. I dunno, it's not even open mouthed and I just...no.
I've never done one of these before so I'm not sure if this is UO or not but I think the bump people need to go to the damn grocery store produce section and look around. I'm 30 weeks today and they are comparing my baby to a freaking CUCUMBER! But the description says that baby is close to 15 inches long and could weigh up to 3 lbs? I've NEVER in my LIFE seen a cucumber that freaking big. The ones in my grocery stores (maybe it's because I'm in the south?) are only around MAYBE 8 inches. WTH are they talking about?? That is definitely not something the size of a damn cucumber making my belly jump around like that.
Maybe this was more of a rant than an UO? :-??
I've been complaining for weeks about this! How do you go from a banana to an orange? Did the baby get smaller??? Those fruits make no sense!
i mean, expecially when were preggers!!! i loveeeee feeling my baby grow but its exausting! i guess hed still be a man if he wasnt spoiling because he still has a penis and all but not a gentleman!!
