Darn bump didnt let me finish. Here he is at my house in the two piece with socks or in the fleece sleeper. And the blanket is pic at daycare....even tho I told them no blanket..

Am I the only person who keeps their house cold at night? I mean, not super cold (20c up from our usual low of 17c), but it would be way to cold to just sleep in a sleeper and sleep sack.
How do babies not get cold???
We have been keeping this house at about 15c at night. Our last house we kept at 12c at night. Alex hates being too warm. I don't know how he will like the summer!
OMG I would freeze in your house. We keep ours at about 70 F (21 C), so plenty warm without blankets.
There is a study showing that whatever you do as a parent is either going to kill your child or scar them for life.
If your baby is cold, but a blanket on.
We use three light blankets plus sleep sack plus footie PJs.
The only worrying thing is that she does like to pull it over her head to fall asleep sometimes. She pretty much stays in one spot to sleep so I'm not worried about tangling or anything.
You really are damned if you do and damned if you don't......
Oh, this is fun. One of the pedis at work found a peer-reviewed journal article discussing research that indicates that sleep slacks and swaddlers may be associated with higher rates of crib death. Further proof that we literally can't do anything right.
I'd like them to come peer-review my 100-year-old apartment on a night when it's 8F and tell me not to use a freaking sleep sack.
@Altima80 -were you pissed about the blanket at daycare? I'd be, if I had asked them not to! My Mil works at a Montessori in the 1-2 yo room. When she's with us, she loves helping take care of babies. I've totally caught her putting the blanket on my girls like that, up over their ears, to get them to nap. I thought it was odd, but know I wonder if it's a daycare thing to help block out noise. Kinda old school. Who's mil wanted to cover the babies face?! Maybe a similar train of thought...
Cal does. A receiving blanket but he is on the co-sleeper for life plan. He likes to rub it. Whatever makes him sleep. I'd just make sure it's a thin breathable blanket.
Same, but Haddock likes to suck on his blankets, too. When he falls asleep I take it from him. He sleeps right beside me so that makes it a lot easier
Here's a story about how I'm a sucker and maybe missing a few brain cells. During LO's worst sleeping period (7-8 wake ups a night) I realized he would sleep longer on the guest bed that has a down comforter. I went and bought a down comforter and had DH's mom cut it and attach a fitted crib sheet around the edge. I also had her make a mini blanket out of the leftovers. I know, my kid has major first world problems but he does sleep a little better.
This is so on point for me today. I realized there were several blankets in DS's crib - we bed share, but put him in his crib the beginning of the night. His room is so drafty that even with the heater on, in the early am its freezing. Crossed my mind that OMG loose blankets everywhere! Not sure just a sleep sack will cut it for us when it's cold.
