Where does your newborn sleep?

This may seem like a weird question, but does your newborn sleep in bed with you or do they have a bassinet they sleep in? I need recommendations about where to let my newborn sleep.

We're using a co-sleeper that attaches to our bed.

Then he slept in a Rock'n'Play until he outgrew it, right beside the bed.

Then in a Pack'n'Play, at the foot of the bed.

Then at 7 months he finally moved to his crib in his own room.

LO started out in the RnP next to our bed, then the PnP (to grow accustomed to flat surface), but after the 4 month wakeful period it became a matter of survival. We have been bed sharing for the past 4 months. Currently are transitioning to her crib.
