  • Nose Frieda!!! (aka the snot sucker)

Get one and you can thank me later. It's my go-to gift for all showers and FTMs. They all think its silly at first but all end up raving about it.
  • I was thinking about this thread last night because I thought of one but now I cannot for the life of me remember what it was. :|

It's fantastic for tummy time when they're smaller and a great little quiet-time rest spot for toddlers.  We have the monkey one for DS1 and he's used it since birth.  It's his favorite place to drink milk.  He still lies down and reads books on it.  We thought we'd be able to pass it down to DS2, but DS1 uses it every day still, so I just ordered the giraffe for DS2.  Friends of ours have the duck one, and their 3.5 yo still uses it daily.

Super useful if you have a long skinny baby.  We got months more use out of some of our clothes.

Whaaaaat??? I wish I'd known about this when DS was in onesies. I could've gotten at least an extra month out of those NB outfits.

The Amazon reviews for these things are horrific, though. Did you find that they fit most clothing brands?

I haven't had any issues with them. The majority of DS's stuff is Carter's and they work fine for that. I've also used them on Gerber, Osh Kosh, Janie and Jack, Children's Place, and a bunch of thrift store clothes just fine. The only annoying part is going through the bands with each outfit to see which one is going to work, which I could probably easily rectify if I just marked the brands on each one with a sharpie.

I always see that and think it's cute, and then realize my dog would eat it in about 4 minutes :(
