Happy weekend everyone!

Random: My mom comes home tonight after being away for the past 3 weeks. I am picking her up from the airport tonight after ds goes to bed. I am SO excited for her to get home. But I am more excited to spend a few hours by myself driving to the airport and then reading a new book while waiting for her to arrive. I am going to try and not blurt out to her about the biopsy thing and let her get a good nights sleep before I tell her. But I am am already feeling more relaxed and less anxious knowing she will be home soon. I need my mommy.

Random: I went out last night for my birthday with some of the guys from work for nachos and beer. I expected us to split up the bill 3 ways. One of the guys totally covered my part. It was so sweet of him. And I am so thankful because no one knew but I really couldn't afford to go out and was wondering how I was going to swing buying dinner and getting gas for the car. (We had some medical bills I expected insurance to cover but they didn't!) I love being the "work mom" everyone treats me so well.

AW: I mentioned that I got together with my dad last week for the first time in over a year. When leaving lunch we decided we would get together every month or so. And that I was planning on getting a membership to the science centre soon, which is right by his work, so it will be nice to have lunch after going with ds sort of thing. While he sent me a card for my birthday next week and bought me the membership!! I feel really touched that he thought to do that. And I am SO excited to start going with ds. We are both going to really enjoy it.

Vent: We switched insurance companies and are getting medical bills not covered that have always been covered before. It sucks.

I totally didn't expect it. I wasn't putting it out there as an idea or anything. Just a statement that we were going to do it sort of thing. It was so kind. And I *think* he might have also been thinking that if we have it we really will continue to try and build a relationship back up again.

Another Random: In the next couple weeks I have the following appts... Biopsy, GP appt for results and a full physical, dentist appt, nathropath appt, and an appt with the new fertility clinic. OMG! That is a lot going on all at once! My life is never boring that's for sure!

AW: We are going tomorrow to get the last things we need to finish the upstairs before they install the carpet. We have a lot of painting to do and I'm dreading it. Random: DD and I went to SAMs today and bought all healthy foods! Vent:: we bought all healthy foods!

I want chocolate not fruit!

AW: DD slept until 7:15 this morning! I mean, she was up at midnight and 5 but after she went back to sleep at 5:45 she slept until 7:15!! I got up at 6:30 and had coffee and got ready before she was awake and it was glorious.

Vent: I can't seem to eat healthy and exercise at the same time. I can only manage one or the other. I've been following an exercise program for 2 weeks now but my diet has gone way downhill.

Random: It's supposed to be in the fifties here tomorrow and I cannot wait to go outside. We are having friends over for a barbecue!

AW: Reese just got a HUGE box in the mail. When were at CHOP one of the social workers had us fill out tons of forms. One of the forms was from Cool Kids Campaign, which I never heard of and conveniently forgot about.

This organization sponsors gift boxes of toys/activities to kids with cancer across the country. It is a huge box and such a surprise on a rainy day where we can't go out.

Random: I've been driving DH to work every morning and we usually talk about silly things. A couple of days ago, I asked him who the most handsome man he knows is, and he said "me," and really meant it. I wish I had his strange self confidence (he won't take his shirt on the beach, but he says he's the most handsome man around... 8-|)

Vent: He didn't nap yesterday either. Why child, why???

Random: Supposedly it is going to be near 50 today and tomorrow. Yay! Then snow forecasted for Mon....lots of snow possibly. Boo.

I don't know your H at all, but in general I really dislike men who know they're good looking, I'd pick a humble man any day. I love humility.

I tell you, it comes and goes. One day he thinks he's extremely handsome, and the next he sdays he's ugly. It's strange.

Ugh we did have a contractor for 1 day, but DH fired him when he got home bc I told him that he was smoking in our home and then when I asked him he denied it, lol so DH has been doing it himself. I've only helped a handful of times by hanging insulation. But better than nothing. Our goal was to have DD back in her room by the time she turned one, and we will meet that goal...by 1 week! Lol

Last night on our weekly baby free night, my sister and I stopped at the school playground on the way home since the weather was pretty nice (compared to what it has been - it was maybe 55). We swung on the swings then headed over to the slide. It was pretty dark out, but I knew the playground well. Well, I had forgotten it stormed the night before. Got to the bottom and splaaaaash. Soaking wet pants, underwear, socks, boots, the works. So cold. So, so cold. Went to the car and took off my pants right there outside, lol. When I got home, I just texted DH "bring me out a towel and flip flops. Don't ask questions." He's used to my I Love Lucy moments now, but he still got a good chuckle out of it. Someday I'll grow up. Maybe.

Random: I had to take Logan to the ER yesterday (he's fine, it was precautionary since my H has pneumonia) and this drunk guy came in who had to be strapped to the bed and have a security guard outside his door. He was yelling the whole time, claiming to be Led Zeppelin and calling all of the nurses whores. He was a peach.

Vent: I had to go to Walmart after the ER to get a humidifier. I hate Walmart. The humidifier rang up $10 more than what it was tagged at, but they refused to change the price even though there were others in that spot so it obviously wasn't like a customer just moved it or something.

AW: Logan has slept through the night two nights in a row. It may just be because he wasn't feeling great, but getting the extra sleep was glorious.

Vent: this weather is making me nuts. Luckily tomorrow is the start of an upswing.

AW: DS1 turns six on Tuesday. I'm so excited to celebrate!

This is all rolled into one.

We went to the local frozen yogurt shop to celebrate little man's birthday with the grandparents. It was nice. I picked to go out because I wouldn't have to clean up for guest. but the vent is that little man wouldn't sit down or stay inside. He kept running to the door... open... shut... ran out twice. It was exhausting. I just have sucked up and mopped the floor to do cake and ice cream at our house. Oh well. you live, you learn. He will be 2 on April 3!!!!!!

Random: The kids have been playing together for hours so nicely. This is our last baby free weekend. I wanted to take them to the mini train and the zoo they begged me to stay home and play instead.

Vent: this baby needs to come on his own before my induction Thursday! I have acupuncture Monday, and an induction massage plus adjustment on Tuesday. Come on out little man.

Aw: Dd had a volleyball game this morning. In the fall she got one serve and three passes over the net the whole season. This morning she got 10 serves and 8 passes in one game. It is so fun to watch her improve.

I just thought of an aw. I baked bread, bubble bread, and will have dumplings, round steak and broccoli for supper. DH and I hung up some pictures too. I feel accomplished today.

Vent : FWP here. My washing machine is spinning off balance and making a ton of noise but I can't move to stop it. Don't want it to wake Ds2

Aw: we have been crazy nesting . And I mean crazy . Last month we cleared out our garage and did many loads to the dump . Last weekend we did the entire office and now we are ripping up all the upstairs carpet and putting laminate down. Our house is starting to feel do organized

AW2: less than three weeks until baby . At most!

Vent: The Flyers lost

I wasn't expecting them to beat a #1 seed, but Lord knows it was still hard to watch them finally lose.

AW: We had a date night so at least I got to watch them lose in a fun sports bar.

AW- DD got into one of the advanced theatre workshops she auditioned for yesterday and then taped her audition for the other one today.

Vent- DH took her to tape it {had to be done with live accompaniment, so had to go to her voice studio} and he didn't coach her like I would have, so she didn't do as well as she could have...so I don't think she'll get into this one. Oh well! She can try again next summer. If I wanted it down perfectly, should have taken her myself.

AW- Tonight DH is getting up with the baby and I'm going to sleeeeeeeeeep. Yay!

Random- I am so ready for Spring!
