I ask so many stroller questions but you girls guide all of my decisions!
I purchased the City Mini Double GT. The darn car seat adapter is $100. Just trying to decide between it, the compact pram (anyone used it?) or just using a snuzzler like I've hear people say.
My double stroller will mostly be used for walks, zoo trips, and other outdoor activities. These are longer activities, so I'm thinking I won't want LO in a car seat for all time. Any time I'll need a quick place to put the car seat, I can use my City Mini Single. So maybe the car seat adapter doesn't make sense for me. I'm really curious about the pram or just using the seat fully reclined. How do LOs do with that? Especially newborns.
I used the snuzzler with my second child and it worked well. Although sometimes it would have been nice to just pop the car seat into the stroller, rather than wake her and stick her in the stroller.
I did buy the adaptor for my third child and I really liked it, but I got it used for $50 It is not worth the $100 price tag.
I did the Snuzzler with no issues and it worked out well (I have the Snap dual which is newborn rated). As long as it reclines all the way you should be okay.
Like you I use the stroller for longer activities and evening walks and it was no problem. I just used our SnG for quick trips and had my toddler walk.
