My friend just named her baby girl Aveleen. I had never heard it before, but think it is so pretty (and SO Irish). Other friends and family have recently had that I love: Nora, Tessa, teagan, Marlowe...

I have no idea what would be on my list if we were having another baby. I have always loved Delaney.

We narrowed it down to Caroline and Jillian, and we went with Caroline. I love it, but it is more popular than I would have thought from looking at the lists (like, for a name that's not top 50, it shows up in the ads for personalized stuff quite a bit).

DD1 is Samantha Helene. We went to the hospital for DD2 with Anneliese (nn Annie) and Evangeline and decided on Evangeline (nn Evie). We also love Elizabeth but sadly couldn't use it. Other contenders were Josephine and Keira

We named DD Tessa and I get compliments everyttime I tell someone her name. Other names on our list were: Delaney, Gwen, Eva, Adair (which was actually the front runner until we met her). My guilty pleasure is Dixie, but I can't go with that with the knowledge someone might call her Dix.

I love old fashioned/ grandma like names. Some of my favorites are:

Violet, Hazel, Olive, and DD's name, Ruby. I get so many complements on Ruby. You can also try looking through your family history. I love both of my grandmother's names (Tatiana and Evangeline).

One of my good friends named her daughter Bethan and I just LOVE it. She discovered it in an old book. It's such a sweet name that's a perfect mix of recognizable yet unique. It's pronounced Beth-en, not Beth-anne, and with the stress on the Beth.

I also like Greta, though I'm terrified it's going to get trendy. Marina, Mabel and Magnolia are ones we've had to let go of because our last name starts with an M and I don't like the alliteration. Flora is lovely, as is Florence. And I like all the June, May, April, Summer, Autumn names... I can't help myself.

I'm going to keep our pick for this baby (if it's a girl) a secret still, but it's already been listed here for consideration anyways

If we have a girl, we are debating between Georgia or Gracelynn. Georgia is a family name and I just like Gracelynn a lot. I also like Emily, Shannon and Daisy.
