Here is another question about 4mo ww.
My LO is now 4.5mo. She has not yet learned to rollover, but she tries. Past week her kicking in her sleep has gotten so strong, she almost wakes herself up every 2-3 hours. Nursing will put her back to sleep but she starts kicking the minute she is in her crib, so now we are co-sleeping ( she kicks less in our bed).
I know that every baby is different but for your LOs, when did they stop kicking (if they also did this). Is it after they learn to roll over? Or is it not related to rolling over at all? TIA.
Re: 4mo wakeful question
He's been able to roll since before the 4MW started. He still kicks like crazy.
Sorry I have no advice :-(
I asked this because at daycare DD sits in boppy bumper or chair most of the day but very little time laying on the floor. So she doesn't have the opportunity to practice roll over. So I'm afraid her 4mo ww will be long. but it could be totally unrelated too like kattant12 said. I was just looking for any ideas.
DD was never a swaddler, she likes to move around in her sleep except when she is sleeping in the car sear/stroller which she loves. For now cosleeping helps because our bed is softer than crib so her kicking doesn't quite mount to waking her up, until she gets hungry at 4 AM. oh well, good luck to everyone with LOs in 4ww.
Thanks for the input!!
@BoyOhBoys, same for my DD. she kicks less when she sleeps with me in our bed-cosleep. Another reason put her in our bed for now is that she kicks so much, she gets too hot in her fleece PJs before falling asleep, but if I put her in cotton PJs, she gets cold in the middle of the night and I can't put blanket on her (even if it is not a suffocation hazard) because she kicks it right off. At least with me, she kicks less, the bed shakes less so she sleeps more, and I can keep her warm.
thanks for sharing ladies, I too feel better knowing DD is not the only one
