I honestly don't remember. One day, I just saw it.

FWIW, the old wives tale is that if the line goes up to you belly button, it's a girl. If the line goes all the way to your sternum, it's a boy.

My line seems to be off center from my belly button. Anyone else have what seems to be an off-center line?

I can't remember exactly but I've had it for several weeks now. At first I just had it below the belly button, it literally showed up over night. I had been over at my cousin's house the night before and she and her 2 little boys were feeling my belly and laughing at how big my belly button is. I called her the next morning and said that I had "the line" she couldn't believe it b/c she had just seen me. And about 2 weeks later I got one above the belly button, they don't line up.

I just check mine and it goes up to my belly button but it gets a little off centered at the top

Never heard the tail, but my line started from my belly button down and was a little off centered for a while. Then after a few weeks a line went from my belly button up to my sternum. So now I have one long line, lol. BTW I am having a boy.

Hmmm, sounds like the old wives tale re; linea negra may know a thing or two.

We didn't find out the sex of the baby, but my gut instinct has been that this baby is a boy from the day of my BFP. The other OWT point to boy for me as well. We shall see in April.

My line goes all the way up and down. I noticed it about 2 weeks ago but it could have been there before that and I just didn't see it. It is still very light. Mine is also off center off my belly button.

I have always had a light line - like since I was 3. But in the past week or 2 I've noticed it's gotten darker and for the first time it now extends above my belly button too. (According to 2 u/s techs we're also having a boy.)

I got mine around 30-31 weeks. It's really crooked and off center, and runs from my pubic line to my belly button, circles all the way around, then goes up to my ribs.

I just started noticing it recently. At first I thought it was just peach fuzz, but it's not. I have a off centered line also that goes up to my sternum. But I am pregnant with 2 little girls.

Haven't gotten it yet, I was really hoping to avoid it but I think that's just wishful thinking. We find out what we're having on Tues. I'm interested to see if the OWT is true for us, that is if my line shows up.

Mine goes all the way up and I'm having a boy. I think on me the line is centered, but it's my belly button that is off-center!

Mine showed up below my belly button right around when I found out I was pregnant and has gradually gotten darker and I can now faintly see it above my belly button - not quite to my sternum yet. I find out what I'm having on Jan. 6th
