Our UPS man and FedEx man are so nice, but would it be rude if I put a sign on the door asking them not to knock or ring the doorbell since DD will be napping. I'm expecting them both today, and if they knock the dogs barks and wake up DD.
I have my doorbell covered with a note that says not to ring it. The only people who ever ring it were kids selling stuff and religious organizations and they always woke DD up.
I have a note on my door that says to be quiet and go away. I don't want anyone coming to my house for any reason. I get a lot of Jehovah's witnesses. And Mormons. And people selling meat.
Thanks ladies. I left a nice note. Nothing I needed to sign for thank goodness. Last week when the FedEx man came by, I answered and was holding DD.He was afraid the dog would run out, handed me my package, and said in a panicky voice "I'll shut the door ma'am, you lock it" lol
I mean, I wouldn't say 'better not wake up the f-ing baby assholes!!!!' But I'm sure a nice, 'sleeping baby, please don't ring. Thank you!' would be nice and I'm sure they see it a lot

If I was a UPS man, and saw a sign like that, I'd laugh. Lol and then tweet a pic

It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
