Follow up u/s today at 10:00am EST to make sure the earlier issues with LO's brain have totally gone away. So I'm "working" from home this morning and trying to enjoy some tea and the Today Show and not stress out
@abastian00 Was it choroid plexus cysts? Hope everything is clear today!
It was one enlarged lateral ventricle - was approaching the limit of "normal" back at my 20 week scan. A follow up showed it went down a bit at 21 weeks, but they just want to make sure. I almost don't want to know because it is bad news bears if it stayed large-ish, but what can you do! Thank you SO MUCH!
Had my weekly ultrasound this morning, tumor grew very little on the outside and not at all on the inside. Very very relieved. Still have an appointment with the psychologist and social worker at CHOP, then my last normal OB appointment this afternoon. Can't believe how fast this is going. Good vibes to everyone today
Just had my 28 week appt and no GD for me this time around!! So happy. The doc said my BP has been creeping up so they are going to keep an eye on that.
A regular bi-weekly State of the Union appointment this afternoon - yay for leaving work early! I'm making my rounds through the MWs so I meet them all and because, ironically, the one I was seeing regularly will be on her own maternity leave for my EDD
I did just find out that I passed my 3-hour GT on Friday. Woot! More donuts for me!
And good luck to all of the other ladies with appointments today!
I had to do the 3 hour Glucose test this morning since I failed my one hour. I hit a wall about a half hour after the drink and had to will myself to not get sick and ruin the whole test but somehow I made it through. Now the wait is on for the results. This was supposed to be my easy kid so my fingers are crossed.
Update: Baby's brain looks GREAT! I am so paranoid about getting through u/s now - it's so hard to enjoy them. But we got to see LO smiling and sucking his/her thumb. S/he "weighs" 3lbs, 8oz and his head down - so all good things.
Oh, and I'm 99% sure our tech told us what we were having even though we asked not to know. I'm just going to live in denial for the next 10 weeks
Thank you to everyone for all your good thoughts and wishes - you have no idea how much it means to me. FX for everyone today - can't wait to hear good results!
Had my regular biweekly appt earlier, am measuring fine but it took dr several minutes to pick up baby's heartbeat. We could both feel her moving though and once she picked it up, it was 140. She said it was strange but nothing to be concerned about but of course I'm freaking out anyway. I'm supposed to track her movements but I think that's a normal thing you do at this point.
Just left my biweekly appt. LO's head is down, so we're progressing the right way! I passed the GD test, but I am slightly anemic. No wonder I've been so regular lately. I expressed my concern about not feeling much movement. We decided to watch it vigilantly over the next two days and see what happens.
I'm officially in my third tri today! I had my apt earlier and everything seemed ok...except my weight. I supposedly gained 11lbs sense my last visit. So I'm pretty freaked out about that and the DR seemed a bit concerned as well. Anyone else having a weight issue? I also had my glucose test today, fingers crossed for good results.
Glad everyone's appointments went well today! I had my 28 wk appointment today to check on the placenta preevia they saw at the 20 week. Great news--the placenta has moved to the back wall, so there is no longer anything to worry about. If it hadn't moved we were going to have to schedule a c-section. I am so relieved. Also had my glucose test and the T-dap shot...long day at the dr. and lab! But I'm very excited to have some new pics of Charlie:)
Do you guys think it's a little odd my doctor told me baby was head down but when I went to get my ultrasound at the perinatal center it showed she was definitely breech.
@emilyh107 - my LO flips all the time still. I don't think it's strange at all. They can be breech one minute, head down the next.
Agreed - they're still small enough to move around a bit. My Bradley teacher said after 34 weeks or so is when they start to get a little more squished.
Re: Wednesday Appointments
I'm already excited for my next appointment where I get to schedule my RCS date!
Good luck today ladies, @abastian00 I hope everything looks great today!
Praying everything goes well at your appt @abastian00!
Routine @ 3:30 est for me as well. I'll also be getting the rhogam (sp?) shot. Looking forward to scheduling those every 2 week apts!.
Hope you get nothing but good news today@abastian00
Good luck ladies!
