Has anyone taken a Z-pack while pregnant?

My doctor today prescribed a Z-pack for a sinus infection that I've been battling for 2 weeks now.  I'm extremely happy to have some relief, but after I took the meds today (day one you take two pills) I've felt a little... off, I guess.  I just feel kind of fuzzy and out of it, and my stomach is a little upset. 

I know I could/should call my doctor, but they're NEVER helpful on the phone (all they do is tell me to go to the ER)... so I thought I'd start by seeing if anyone else had gone through this.  :-/  I've never had a reaction to any kind of meds before, this is all new to me.

Yes, I took a z-pack 2 weeks ago. ?I have taken them before and never had a problem with them. ?What kind of reaction are you having?

Updated...I just re-read your post and the stomach upset is normal...as far as fuzzy/out of it, this could all be to do with the sinus infection, but check with your dr. if you are concerned.?

I can tell you that those side effects are extremely common with the Z-pak - regardless of being pregnant or not. I am sure that is not much help, but its extremely common. There are other alternatives, not sure off the top of my head which category for pregnancy they are in though

Thanks ladies.  I've been googling the side effects and the stomach thing had me worried.  But I think I'll just wait on it and make sure it doesn't get any worse before I call the doc.  I don't need to be told yet again to take an unnecessary trip to the ER.

I had to take the Z pack about a month ago for the same reason and I didn't really have any kind of reaction to it. I'd call just to make sure?
