9 weeks feels like forever

Tomorrow will be 7 weeks left for me. It is DRAGGING. Maybe it's that I am not sleeping, still commuting and working, but the first 32 weeks FLEW and now I just feel fat, lethargic, and slow.

I alternate between feeling like he is never going to be here & being terrified that these are my last few weeks as a child free person. Although who am I kidding? At this point I am not child free. Sure, he is safely contained within my womb & therefore never needs a sitter but my body & time are not my own anymore.

Not so much a problem physically (though I'd like to keep her baking as long as possible obviously). More just a mental shock than anything. That and that's 3 weeks less to finish the renovations!

It doesn't matter what you "imagine". The reality is that preterm can bring complications and a NICU stay. Why would you hope for that?! Also, full term isn't until 39 weeks. Those are new standards.
