dear moms!

what have you found has become one if your favorite new baby/shower gifts now that you HAVE your baby??

I don't remember what I used the most besides our Moses basket and breathing monitor & my boobs ;)

a friend is due with her first & I have ideas but would love others perspectives & perhaps newer items I don't even know about!

    Boppy lounger. It's like the original boppy but no hole in the middle. My little one loves to be in it. In the middle of the night crying with a colicky baby it is a lifesaver.

    The video monitor, baby fingernail clippers with a light on the end so you can see the tiny nails, and a "hospital survival basket" with candy, make up remover wipes, slippers, hard candy, chap stick, etc. So cute and thoughtful!

    House cleaning service, and other help around the house during the initial weeks. But im also a minanlist.

    In a zombie, sleep deprived state, I loved being able to walk into a immaculate room. Just mentally it's uplifting.

    I received hand made burp clothes. My DS spits up A LOT... They come in handy and really cute!

    Along the lines of this, I enjoyed anything that helped me organize the rest of the gifts we got. ;)

    Yes!  Burp cloths and spit rags.  Oh and different types of diapers.  Huggies work best for us! :)

    Diapers!!! Things I actually USE from my showers... The diapers. The gene. (Got loads of refills.. Yay!) and receiving blankets. We really like the bouncy chair. It's something I registered for. I think it was like 20$ at Walmart.
