Today is frustrating

A little boy at DS's daycare just overcome cancer on the 17th. On the 21st they did some scans and realized it has now spread to his liver, bones, and other various places. He is going back in for a 6 cycle chemo treatment. He will have to stay inpatient until it is over. This is so sad b/c we really thought that he was clear...

Also my BFF had her son scheduled for an MRI today to check for cancerous cells in the bones. They THINK her little boy may have either an infectious disease or leukemia. Today when they got him there they had to cancel his scan b/c they think he is still battling phenomena..... She just really wants to know what is wrong with him.

Poor dudes.

PS I will be fasting on Friday for both boys. SO NO FOOD TALK! lol

    Oh gosh-- that's horrible. 

    Hearing things like this makes me realize how luck we are with DD's health.

    Poor boys is right.  They and their parents will be in my thoughts!

    Why the fast?  Just as a show of support?

    We are all catholic. We are hoping that fasting on friday will help our prayers be acknowledged more. PS by "we" i mean the people of our church and school. DS goes to a private catholic daycare and there is also a school K-8.

    So sorry to hear this, I hate cancer :(  Especially with children. Not fair.
