Did your DH come to baby shower?

Yes we did a couples cookout baby shower! So glad he was there with me this time but with DS it was all baby showers without DH. He came towards the end at the shower his family gave me and helped load gifts/socialize with family.

DH surprised me and everybody else by making an appearance at my bridal shower. He said some hello's and thank yous and went on his way. It was really sweet and guests still talk about it.

As for a baby shower Im having more of a quiet family gathering after baby comes which is coed so DH will be there the whole time.

For my bridal shower dh came at the end and helped clean up and pack the car. For my baby shower for my side of the family, I don't think he will be attending. I will have my sisters and dad to pack up the car and the shower is at my parents home so its more comfortable. For dh's side of the family the shower will be at my home so he will be there but he will be in his "man cave" with his brother most of the time I'm sure. I have told him I want him to be a part if the gift opening. I'm excited to have it at my house where I can be comfortable and not have to go anywhere!

My DH is very unsocial, so it was really weird to me that he wanted to be included in our showers. Our friends and family shower wasn't really coed, but DH, FIL and FILs brother we're there. I'm so happy DH was there as I have weight restrictions on lifting so he did a lot of that with the presents. We also did a onsie decorating station and he made a super sweet onsie for Oliver. He also came to the shower held by our church (I thought that was a little strange) he again helped with opening gifts and talked with all our church friends. No one seemed to think anything of it, but he was the only guy there. He stayed for the entire shower both times and he was very happy to do so!
