Kids say the funniest things

I just told my son I wasn't feeling well today (lots of contractions while at work and back pain). He asked if I threw up and I said no, my tummy hurt because it was getting ready for the baby. He then asked if it was because my tummy was putting up decorations. (Getting ready for the baby, get it?) so cute and funny. Gotta love 4 year olds.

    Here's another!
    So after my baby shower on saturday we stayed to visit with my sister in law for a bit. Her youngest son is 5 and autistic. So my SIL tells him that there's a baby in my belly. He looks at me puzzled for a minute and says "eat baby?". She laughed and told him no, that it was growing in there. He pats my stomach and says "baby?" still looking confused when he just feels my big bump. I repeated that there was a baby growing inside. He looks at me for a second and then gets a big grin on his face and tries to lift up the edge of my dress to find the baby I must be hiding under my clothes (luckily I had the edge pinned down with my hand quick enough). I laughed so hard. All I could say was "well at least he figured out the first part of how his uncle put a baby in there!"
