Please diagnose me while I wait for my doctor's office to open and subsequently call me back.
Since last week Tuesday I've had radiating pain in my left calf that goes from the back of my knee to my ankle. I've stretched, I've walked, I've taken Tylenol, I've used resistance bands, I've sat with a heating pad, I've elevated my leg. Nothing helps. In fact, it feels worse now than it did last week.
Unfortunately I Google'd it and according to Google, I could either have bone cancer (what?!) or I could have Deep Vein Thrombosis, which is apparently common in pregnant people who are overweight, former smokers who used to take BCPs.
Please tell me this could be something else and if you have suggestions on how to make it stop hurting, that would also be greatly appreciated. Seriously, if I had a cane, I would be using one right now with how bad it hurts.
Re: Please Diagnose Me.
I'd definitely get to the doc to have them peek. Honestly, my RN brain immediately thought "DVT," but I've also seen lots of patients exhibit signs, go for testing, and not have one. Hope that's you and it's just muscular!

ETA If you had bone cancer, your initial pregnancy bloodwork would have been messed up. In case that's a legit worry for you right now:)
Im just so irritated at this situation. not at anyone, just that it's happening and my body is being sucky.

Oh no!! So sorry!
At least you went in and they caught it. Try to enjoy putting your feet up for a couple days?
Email me if there is anything I can do to help.
