DS just looked up at me with the sweetest smile while nursing

...and then I realized it was because he was peeing all over me and the pillow. Nice one kid.

Also I'm pretty sure our toilet is broken. We used quadruple the water we usually do yesterday according to the online meter thing, and it was making funny noises.

He needs supplies for his kidney dialysis cycler machine (I'm sure there is a true name). He has manual dialysis supplies but they are supposed to be for emergencies, like if something is wrong with his machine, etc, not just that his nurse didn't order him enough supplies. I just couldn't believe that a nurse would tell a patient that.

Wtf. I'm gonna kill MH if he doesn't start acting right. He is eating ALLLLLL the crackers today.

He has this week off work and today he's decided to just do whatever the fuck he pleases without even asking if I need a hand with DS or anything.

I got up, brought DS to the the dr, picked up his rx for antibiotics, have taken care of all of the general childcare, etc (as I normally do), and called the bank to attempt to refinance our car loan for a lower rate. DH has decided that he was gonna sleep until 11am, get up/have coffee, make a batch of maple syrup, and he just put his coat on and went outside to putz around/tinker a bit.

Honestly, I'd be fine with it if he just fucking took the time to ask me if I needed a break or something. I realize if he were at work, this would be business as usual. But wtf dude...you're off work for a week. Pitch in with our kid a little. Why is it that on his time off he gets to do fun recreational stuff, but any time off I get is usually spent doing boring household shit or necessary errands?

Ugh. I was seriously hit with the bitch stick today. Thanks, AF.

My house is a mess. Every time I try to clean my kids make a HUGE mess somewhere else. I am on day 5 of DH being gone and my kids are annoying me to no end. I just cracked a bottle of wine bc I might have an epic meltdown otherwise. I just want the house to be clean when DH comes home tomorrow, fuuuuuuucccckkkkk

Ditto @mrsbutt while he is good about spending time with DD on the weekends he.often pulls the same thing as your DD. I've finally just started making plans and leaving. Plus if it's bad I tell him. Not the best because I'm sure lots of husband's help without being asked, but not all are like that.

Also when I broke down about it one time he told me that I always took her with me etc. That he never realized that I didn't want to always take her.

Mine is that I took 1.5 hours of vacation time today to be home by 4 for the cable Guy who is scheduled between 4-8. Not sure why I took it off because we all know he wont come till 8.

We had gorgeous blue skies, shining sun and puffy white clouds the other day. Too bad it was in the 20s F and also snowing. That was a total mind fuck.
