So far, in our investigation to find DW's dad, we've found out she's had 3 step moms from all over. She may also very possibly have a few half siblings. So, what's good is that we seem to be doing a decent search so far because we're actually finding things out!
DS made it all night in his big boy bed without falling out or getting up!!! I won't talk about how much earlier than normal he was up because I don't want to be a negative nancy in the positive thread;) happy Sunday everyone!
DS's 2nd bday party was a success yesterday! It started very early, so there was a bit of a rush at the beginning, but everything went well! And because it was early, most of the clean up was done yesterday so today can just be for relaxing
I got my tomatoes planted this weekend along with some hardy plants that will handle the Texas heat if i don't have as much time to tend to the garden this summer
I bought $600 of funeral/wake clothes in a crazy frenzy for me and DS on Monday. We just returned everything we didn't need, and it's a wonderful feeling!! I hate returning stuff so I made DH go in to all the stores.
Also, DS has a well child visit on Wednesday. Call me weird, but I always look forward to these. It's fun to see how much he's grown, and I love his doctor.
I packed some of our unneeded stuff yesterday and am going to pack more today. I don't like packing but it means we're getting close to when we actually move. Oh and DH let me sleep in this morning and watched DD.
@jensavicci, we did an Elmo theme...with some Cookie Monster and Big Bird thrown in. I AW'd some pics in the ticker change thread, but I'll share them here too
It is our one year wedding anniversary today! We bought a split of champagne from a champagne house we visited during our honeymoon and I look forward to having a small glass today. I can't believe how fast this year flew by!

DH was snoring so loud I couldnt get him to stop so I went to the guest room. Best. Decision. Ever. With no animals walking on me in my sleep or stealing my room on the bed, i slept so ridiculously well. I wish hed just be okay with us sleeping seperately but he doesnt like that too much haha. Last night was great though!
I had a great night sleep last night. We got our grocery shopping done earlier in the day and the total bill wasn't as much as I thought it was going to be. So now we have a whole house full of food and we're within budget. While unpacking the groceries, I started prepping dinner and started macaroni salad for lunch for the week, so much of the day's work is done!

I did that few weeks ago when my husband was sick, but HE slept in the other room. best. Week. Ever. I wish he'd entertain the idea more often. lol.
My positive this week is hubs finally cleaned out the garage! I can walk in there now! And my daughter is doing so well with potty training at night, I don't think I'm going to buy ANY more diapers or pull-ups til June!
We got our taxes taken care of AND are getting a much better return than we expected! Due to all of our fertility treatments, our medical taxes were high enough to get more back. And as we were doing the treatments, we didn't even think we could file them. And, I'm just so happy to have it done!
I went to a cloth diapering class and baby wearing class this morning and my husband went with me. He works like a 100 hours a week so it was so nice to have him with me and being apart of it. Also the class made me more confident in my decision to cloth diaper our LO.
Plus I had some gelato on the way home
DS has now slept FOUR solid nights in a row in his crib without waking up crying in the middle of the night and getting in our bed. This morning he slept til 8:30!! And he didn't even cry when he woke up-- just sat in his crib and called out "mama"! I am soo pleased ) Praying it continues.
DH and I have had a relaxing weekend (partially because we're putting off housework, but that's okay!) and have been binge-watching 24. So. Good! We also had a chili cook-off after church today. There were 15 or so crock pots full of chili to choose between and it was sooooo good. And the dessert table - excellent. The result of lunch was being reminded just how well Tums work. While we were eating, a fellow teacher reminded me that we have three weeks until our week-long Easter break, and after that week, six weeks until the last day of school! So many things to be thankful for.

My parents came to visit and took us out to lunch today! It was so great, they are an hour away and never visit so I felt quite loved. And we leave for our Emerald City Comic Con baby moon on Thursday, so I am feeling super excited and sunny about that too
I'll join in today! DD's birthday party went off without a hitch on Saturday! It was at a pizza joint so I has nothing to clean up at home! We had a great day at the zoo today! I'm channeling all the positive energy to get me off the couch now and pack my lunch for tomorrow!
We had a nice time out with my fiance's mom and stepdad. They treated us to a movie and dinner. She is just so excited about the baby. At one point, Baby was kicking, and I put her hand on my tummy so she could feel it.

I hate getting motivated to pack my lunch it's the worst! I must do it before I land on the couch for the night or I have no hope.
Re: +++Stay Positive Sunday+++
Yay! What'd you do for his party? Was there a theme? Did he have fun?
We did Mickey Mouse and Disney
