  If she likes dresses that are a little more modest and not glitzy check out jenclothing.com. there is a whole section of prom and semi formal dresses that might be along the lines of what your DD is looking for. Hope that helps!

  How about this? It's not straight, but not super poufy either. I love the vertical ruffles.
  
  Did your DD try on a bunch? She should try different cuts regardless of color just to get an idea of what she wants.
