High back booster recommendation

We are getting ready to transition LO into a booster. There are so many options! We want a high back because she isn't 40lbs yet. Anyone have one they love? Any info on which ones have best safety ratings? Consumer reports only reviewed 2 so it wasn't overly helpful. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Here's some ideas for you. Just a. FYI some states are changing the harness law...so you may be better off with a harnessed booster depending on the childs age & height.

How old is she? If she is still under 40 lbs she should still fit in a convertible seat comfortably. What seat is she in now?

It sounds like your dd really needs is a combination seat. Most children are not ready for a booster until age 6. At 40 pounds, there are tons of harnessed seats that will booster later on.

What is your current seat? What is your buget for a new seat, if you really do need one?

How old is your child?  Most kids are not ready for a HBB with a seatbelt until they are 5-6 years old.  I suggest a combination seat like the Nautilus and keeping him/her harnessed as long as possible.

DD is almost six she is just really small and weighs about 30 lbs. We currently have an even flow convertible car seat but the latch is getting loose so we feel like we need to switch her and instead of buying another convertible we thought a 5pt harness booster would be our best option. We are open to any price point just looking for a good seat. Thanks for any thoughts!

Ohhh Ok.  Well the Graco Nautilus or Britax Frontier are good options.

What do you mean the LATCH is getting loose?

Britax Frontier, Britax Pinnacle, Recaro Performance, Recaro ProSport, Graco Nautilus, Graco Argos, Evenflo Maestro, Evenflo SecureKids....

The only one I have experience with is the Nautilus, and it wouldn't be my first choice. We have 2 Recaro HBBs that have fit DD1 really well, so those would be one of my first choices.

The thing that goes across her chest on the harness isn't snapping into place like it should and it's getting more difficult to make sure she is snapped in properly.
Thank you all for your suggestions!!

@Thankfulforwine‌ if you call evenflo and let them know you are having a problem with the chest clip, they should be able to send you a replacement.
