I'll never forget the epic hilarity of the neighbor's 5/6 year old daughter screaming out in the yard about one of her brothers hitting her in the vagina with a ball/bat.

The regular slang word for vagina over here is "fanny", but I know that has entirely different connotations to you guys. Word of warning - if you're ever in the UK, never refer to your bum as a fanny. Mass confusion.

Anyway, I get a little tired when people add to daily ticker changes like, 3 days after the day. Like people who update a Monday ticker change on a Thursday. You missed your day - catch the next one.

As delightful as that sounds, I think I'll pass.

I started reading Ina May Gaskin's Guide to Childbirth and the first half is all birth stories. Interesting but some of them were just a little too crunchy for me to make it through. As soon as I see "yoni" come up, the page gets turned.

I actually find these to be 1) entertaining, and 2) a good cognitive exercise for me, eg, 7 months into pregnancy seeing a "there was no pink line but I'm experiencing pregnancy symptoms" thread pop up and wondering if my confused, preggo-brained self has wandered over to the wrong board. Keeps me on my toes!

It isn't what we don't wanna see posted....its the same things---over and over and over again. All it takes is some research and common sense.

Take for instance there was a thread yesterday clearly titled....anyone else???? and then at the end of the night last night someone else posted a anyone else question right below the one that had 6 pages of info......

Don't mean to be snarky but it is what it is.....

No. Most topics that have been covered a zillion times within the last 2 weeks become irksome when someone neglects to scroll down and just decides to post a new thread about it.

Take a look back over the last few pages of posts. Anything that's been covered there, usually multiple times, we don't need to see again. We also have a search function, though it helps to check the date of the threads you find before bumping them back up again.
