Teethers

I think DS is starting to teeth... Heavy drooling and is constantly chewing on something. No sign of teeth can be seen on his gums yet. Anyway he was pretty cranky today... Just wanted to chew on everything but was getting frustrated getting it to his mouth. He's 16 weeks and the agility to get something in his mouth is not quite there yet.
Any suggestions on teethers for younger babies? I was thinking maybe something pacifier style.

I loved Sophie - she is expensive, but is great because of all of the different body parts baby can gnaw on. I also used these:

I like Sophie and this vibrating teether. I hate teethers with gel in them. I always worry that he might bite through the plastic...

wet wash cloth, also got a teething paci from Target but it's too big for her mouth even though it says 2+ months. I got small gel teething rings which I hold for her and she seems to like it for a little bit.

We have a Sophie but he doesn't seem to like it too much. I think it may be a little big for him still.

He has a scary stuffed giraffe that he likes to chew on. He can get the nose, legs, and antennas in his mouth. But it's not really good to relieve any teething issues.

We also got him the grape fabric teether. Same concept as the washcloth but we haven't frozen it yet.

Anyone try the Tommie tippee teether?

LO has been doing the same, more and more drool. A lady we met on the weekend recommend one that has like a mesh on the end and it goes in the freezer so it's nice and cool to chew on.

We got this for LO yesterday, goes in the freezer. He has been chewing on it all day, definitely teething. The other one is shaped like a Popsicle and you put frozen food in it so that will come in handy later

I've been looking for something for Maggie too, so far she just loves chomping down on my (clean) knuckle but she rejects all the teethers.

I agree with the wet dish rag in the freezer. Free and effective. Babies love simple shit. Give 'em a toy, they want the box!!!

I saw this and remembered that we received one of these before LO was born. She isn't a binky fan either but she likes chomping on this.

Right now LO likes gnawing on things with his back gums. So we got some teethers he could use to get back there. So far this one from Tommee Tippee is his fav.

@CaliforniaPeach‌ and @mightymousy‌ I read some mixed reviews about the razz berry teethers that are two tone. I heard they are two pieces and can come apart. They do sell them in solid colors that are one piece. My LO really likes his too.

Research this first. I was also recommended these by several people, but they were recalled in 2010 and recently brought back. I'm still scared to try them. My LO loves chewing a wet washcloth also. She hates toys right now, unfortunately.

LO likes to chew on soft toys, especially the blanket type that are easy to grab.

I wish LO would hold onto that kind of stuff and shove it in his mouth the way I know he wants to. He tries but his hand gets in the way and he ends up sucking on it.

any of your teethers chew on their tongue? My LO is drooling like crazy too, however I hear that is common around 3 months, but she is also sucking her tongue weird and chewing on it as well........

We stick his Soothie pacifier in the fridge for a bit and he likes when it gets cold. We bought a Sophie this weekend too and it seems to help a little. Poor guy is just miserable at times though.
