I might be crazy, but I'm loving that it's just barely warm enough that I don't need my winter coat to sit outside and enjoy the morning sunshine.
Where do you live? I'm in MA and we had some decent weather yesterday which was great to drive around with the sun roof open today I haven't even stepped outside ... But it looks cold lol
Central Iowa. I mean, it's only 49, but considering how cold it's been lately this feels like heaven!!
Induction scheduled for next Thursday if he doesn't come sooner. Had a very not so plesant membrane sweep today. And because I finally feel like the end is near here's some cervical stats 3 cm and 70%!!!

We're up to 56 now, with a couple more degrees to go to reach the estimated high today of 59. I am so happy. Maybe our LOs won't have to be bundled up for the first ten weeks of their lives after all! ;D
@wisconsincheese I've used these in the past. They're humane traps, so no accidental maiming. The only bad part is that you've got to find a place to release it where it won't just move back into your house. I took the mouse I caught to a nearby park to let it go.
My mom is doing BeachBody's 21 day fix and I just tried to do Pilates with her. I started out ok but once the ab stuff where you're laying on your back started I was reminded I had major abdominal surgery 7 weeks ago (
We got out of bed at 11 this morning when my mom got here. LO only napped for about 20 minutes at a time for a total of maybe 2 hours all day. Until he finally passed out on my mom around 10. She handed him off to me about 11 and he's still out like a light. I think he knows I'm waiting on him to wake up so I can change and feed him then go to bed n
Question. When you guys's babies were born, could they look at you? It seems many of the birth announcements have babies looking right at the camera. Ryker couldn't really open his eyes properly for a few weeks and then when he did he looked kinda straight through you.. It's only been the last two weeks or so that he actually looks at you and his eyes look focused. He's 9 weeks old now. Just curious
Mia has been a very alert baby. I'm sure each LO is different.

My nephew was like this. The doctors actually expressed some initial concern but it turns out everything was completely fine. I think all babies take different times to fine tune their vision.
The dreams just keep getting weirder and weirder and weirder.... Last night I dreamt that the Westboro Baptist Church owned almost the entire cloth diaper industry and thus made choosing to CD a very complicated decision.... lol
Baby was super gassy and uncomfortable s all day yesterday, so last night I decided to take a bath with her to see if it helped. I made it nice and warm and laid her on my legs with her little feet toward mine and we chilled out for a good 20 minutes. She just laid there peacefully, looking around while I kept slowly pouring water over her chest, belly and legs.
She'd pooped twice right before we got in, so I thought I was safe, but nope. LO got so relaxed that she managed to let out a poop of epic proportions. In the bath. With me in there. It spread everywhere within seconds. I'm sure I looked ridiculous trying to figure out how to stand up while holding LO in a not-so-big bathtub full o' poo. Then I had to stand there in the crap waiting for the tub to drain so I could turn on the shower and rinse us both off because if I'd turned it on before the tub fully drained, it never would have drained and I'd have been standing in poop the whole time. I stood there while we waited and told her she's lucky I love her because it was really gross standing in a tub full of golden poo bits.
The end.

My favorite duo (FIL and the 15 year old nephew) came down mainly because the 15 year old needed to but a $400 pair of shoes that came out today (his dad sent him money). I'm still trying to sleep. DH just came back and said I needed to get up because they have to leave in a half hour.
I mean I don't want them here, but at the same time why even bother coming here if you're staying like an hour. (It's and hour and a half drive each way). Smh
Eta- they were trying to wake up my sleeping baby so they could see him real quick before they leave. Wtf. But, since he's my son and he's awesome he wouldn't wake up for them. They went outside to smoke and as soon as they walked out he opened his eyes. I love this boy! lol and now he's nursing so they're out of luck.
DH was talking to my MIL on speaker phone and she asked if Owen was still looking so "straggly". Excuse me, you just referred to your grandson that way?
Just found out yesterday I'm being induced tomorrow. Nervous/excited! Today is my and DH's dating anniversary, so we're going to the movies/dinner to celebrate. Last time it will ever be just the 2 of us! Plus we went grocery shopping and we're cleaning around the house.
Tomorrow was my dad's birthday, so I'm hoping she makes her arrival before midnight.
@Jt7dreamz they just keep getting weirder!! I'll take it as a sign labor is on the horizon for us
I had a dream last night that I went in labor. The indication was that I broke my arm. I kept telling everyone, "I broke my arm. That means I'm in labor." DH wanted to go to a hospital 6 hours away, but my mom convinced him to go to our hospital. But we had to swim there lol.
Re: The Randomest Thread
Freaked me the heck out
ETA: Turns out he was talking about the giant Sharpie my grandma bought to mark boxes with. "Marker" got auto-corrected, not dildo. Wtf...
I emailed community@thebump.com
Gave them three choices. And its been like a week? Maybe a little longer.
Edit: actually i emailed them monday. I guess my days are way off!
Or adding another position?
Thats a bingo right?
