3 days prior to ovulation.

Me , and SO could only do it once this cycle 3 days before I ovulated. Do I have a chance of pregnancy?

    I can spot exactly when I'm ovulating. I've never done temping. This is our first month trying for another. So we'll see! :) Thanks for replying.

    Was there something else there before the comma? It looks weird to me ,   

    If "it" is unprotected intercourse, then yes, you have a chance of pregnancy with O-3 sex.  However, if "it" is something else, then no.  

    Overall, however, I'm guessing you don't temp and don't really know when you ovulated.

    Lol I do know when I ovulate! I feel it every month. And it doesn't take me long to conceive. "It" is unprotected sex. But , I haven't ever done "it" 3 days prior to ovulating. Usually I wait till day of. So that is why I asked.

    How do you "feel" when you ovulate? Hell, I have no clue when I ovulate unless I'm temping and looking at my chart.  

    I'm guessing you pick a day and say "Oh, I'll ovulate on this day" and go with it.  Psssh.  I call cray cray.

    No. Some woman can feel when they ovulate. It feels like cramps. And sometimes little twinges, or pinches. And it does that for a while through out the day. Sorry to bust you girls bubble. But, yes I can feel when I ovulate.

    I was curious on you guys answer to that question. Was curious if any of you ever got pregnant 3 days before ovulation. Not trying to start a debate about me.

    Well you have all the answers. I'm sure your ovulation prediction method is 100% correct.

     TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38
    Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.

    Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!

    You can't get pregnant before you ovulate? The egg has to be present before the sperm arrive or freshly release as they arrive.

    You can have sex & the sperm can survive for 5 days I believe. So, if you are right about being close to egg release (& cramps are not a reliable indicator no matter how much you argue it is) then yes-- sex 3 days before ovulation could result in pregnancy.

    Will it? I have no idea. Your odds are the same as anyone else.
