Welcome to the TTC a Rainbow Sibling check-in. This check-in is a for TTCAL-ers with living children to talk about the issues about TTCAL while you have a living child. Living children and pictures of living children are welcome here, however if your pictured child is an infant (< a year old), please do place a warning at the beginning of your post to alert ladies who are having a hard day. You do not have to be active on the PAL board in order to be a member of this check-in, however, if you plan on posting on the main board please post an intro there.

My update: As most of you know, I had my IUI on Monday. DH's counts were excellent so now we wait. I know most of you heard this story all ready, but I'm still freaked out so I'm repeating it. When the nurse came in for the IUI she talked about how much stimming I had and that I had a good chance of multiples and had a thought about selective reduction. I said that I only had one tube (read the damn chart) and she said that made her feel a little better, but the other eggs can still be picked up and fertilized, which I know, but I don't think it's too common (especially with my body). Nothing like adding more stress to my TWW! My beta test is 3/31 (which seems so far away) and I start progesterone tonight, which I'm not looking forward to. I placed it in the morning on my last IUI cycle and had horrible side effects. So, I'm hoping that placing it at night will help.

QOTW - I love to get outside and do some landscaping, although the time for that hasn't been available the last couple years. With the boys getting older, I hope to be able to have them play while mommy gets some flowers planted. I'm only about 2 months away from that though!

My consult is next week. I plan on asking my RE if I need anymore testing, specifically an HSG. I had one before DD, but haven't had one since. And I feel like with the ep it would be beneficial, but we'll see what he has to say. I'm terrified to try again, but I want to do everything I can to give DD a sibling, so I need to get over it. I'm kind of glad that I'm benched for these 3 months because I think I need the mental break.

QOTW: My favorite spring time activities are pretty much anything outside after being cooped up all winter...the zoo, the park, walks. Now if it would only actually feel like spring!

Good morning everyone! As expected this cycle/last cycle is super screwy. I vaguely remember the same when I went off of BCPs last time. I got AF on CD12 so I'm back to CD5 now I think. I'm unsure if I should count this as a new cycle or not? I bled for five days, spotted for six, then bled for four more. How would you count it? I'm probably going to pick up some OPKs in the next few days because I can't stand not knowing what's going on with my body. I know they're not as accurate as temping but I would feel some peace of mind using them.

QOTW: We're in Texas so spring usually consists of swimming and lots of playing outside. I love to swim so I'm really excited to share that with my boys this year.

@sunnydaysarehere - I'm glad that your consult is soon and I hope you get some answers. I had 2-3 follies on the right and possibly 4 more on the left (no tube). DH's friend just moved in with us for a bit so that will help to keep my mind off of it, at least, I'm going to tell myself that.

Hi Ladies!

Hoping to find you all well..things are going ok for this 2WW. .i am not feeling any symptoms at all for either AF or a BFP. Trying to wait it out but do not want to test and get a BFN. . I was trying to shift my temp time to a bit earlier so I am getting a bunch of open circles. I had a significant drop in temp this am so I am a bit discouraged today, however I am thinking it was because I didn't sleep much last night thank you to working 2nd shift.

Sorry for rambling. .and we have a large reverse raffle that i am coordinator of this weekend so just trying to stay busy and distracted.

QOTW for spring around the corner I am excited for the boys baseball season to get underway...though I will be sick of it soon..

@rmpar29 - Hopefully only the right side will cooperate. And I hope that the progesterone doesn't mess with you too much!

@missa_g - I'm not sure about the weird bleeding, but I hope that the OPKs will help you figure out what's going on.

@tmaggie0424 - Hopefully you are able to talk to your H soon and come to a decision that's best for your family.

Hi ladies! Thanks @rmpar29 for the check-in! As usual, You're Awesome! I'm glad DH's count was so good, and that you had good stimming! FX for you this cycle. Are you using the suppositories or the shots? A friend of mine is doing progesterone shots (she didn't like the idea of the suppositories).

@sunnydaysarehere I know the feeling of being scared to try again. I was/am benched for 3 cycles, also, and I know that time has helped tremendously in deciding if we are ready to try again or not. ((hugs))

@missa_g I'm sorry you're cycles went cuckoo on you

Hopefully they get back on track soon!

@TMaggie0424 I'm so sorry you and DH haven't come to an agreement yet. When DH and I talked about it last month, he wanted to wait a full year, and I wanted to start again as soon as we were medically cleared. After further discussion, we decided to take it month by month - re-evaluate where we were around CD1 of each month until we were both ready to try again. I hope y'all come to an agreement soon.

@sergeantb44 FX for you this cycle! I think if you move the time you temp up by under 30 minutes on any given day, it will give you less open circles. (I'm not completely positive, but I think that's how that works. If I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct me.) How does a reverse raffle work?

As for me, I have not yet gotten my new car. My insurance company has be great about taking care of things quickly, giving us a fair amount for our car, picking it up from the tow lot, etc., but they sent an $11,300 check to my bank through the regular mail, and my bank has yet to receive it (it went out on 3/10, and the usps says up to 10 business days to arrive, which, if you include Saturday as a business day for the mail, that would mean today is 10 days) and I'm super frustrated. Even if the bank does get the check today, we still have to reapply for another car loan, which takes 2-3 business days, which means it may not be until mid next week before we can go shopping... I'm upset about the check, but I'm also feeling terrible about keeping grandma-in-law's car for so long. It's been a month on Saturday since the wreck. I know she needs her car back (and I'm desperate to give it back) but I can't do anything right now

Anyway, sorry for the novel... Other than those frustrations, I'm doing ok. After this cycle we're medically cleared, but we may or may not continue to TTA for a little while longer. Big ((hugs)) to anyone who needs them.

ETA: QOTW: We play frisbee and soccer a lot, and the boys LOVE to swim! My dad and step-mom have paid for swimming lessons for them since they were babies, and they would rather be in the water than anywhere else. Maybe one day they'll be like Michael Phelps and win a bunch of gold medals in the Olympics!!! LOL (mom's gotta dream big, right?!?!)

Yes, we are TTC in the meantime. I don't have an RE appointment scheduled yet. I'll be following up with my OB early next month and will ask her about a referral then so I can get an appointment on the calendar with an RE. The plan is to TTC on our own for another 3-4 months and then see the RE if need be.

My big news for now is that my first book comes out next Tuesday (I'm a writer... hence, my screen name)! It's been a whirlwind of stress and excitement. It will be amazing to finally be able to go to the bookstore and see it on the shelf.

QOTW: Lately my favorite spring activity has been stomping in puddles with DS. We both put on our rubber boots and he laughs hysterically.

@rmpar29‌ - I have always used my progesterone at night and found that it actually helped me sleep better. There was a short time that I took it twice daily and had awful headaches and nausea. I hope that schedule works better for you.

@Missa_g‌ - what a crazy cycle. I think I would count cd 1 just as you did. I hope your cycle is more "normal" this month!

@TMaggie0424‌ - Sorry to hear you can't get a straight answer about TTC again. Hopefully when things settle down a bit (from the house building) you will be able to come to an understanding on what he really wants to do.

@MoreThanSparrows08‌ - That is so frustrating! I hope the check arrives today.

@BookishMomma‌ - CONGATS on your new book! How exciting.

Ok, an update on me. I am so excited that today is cd 1! We are officially off the bench and back in the game. I am way too much of a realist to believe that we will get our BFP on the first try (but it would be so nice if we did), but I am just trilled to be able to try again. Of course I have a lot of nerves that it could happen again, but at least we have an opportunity to bring another rainbow into our lives.

QOTW: I looking forward to all the snow melting so I can get my garden started. I am starting my seeds indoors this weekend and can already taste the fresh fruits and veggies. I am doubling my garden size this year and I hope to harvest enough to try canning this year.

Oh, can you add my EDDs yo the list? #1 was 4/11/12 (born sleeping on 11/16/11). And #2 was 7/17/14. Thank you!

I'm expecting to O next week. DH has been gone at a conference since Sunday and returns tomorrow. DS has not been easy this week so I'm happy he will be back soon.

@morethansparrows, ugh, lame for not getting your check or a car yet! I have my '94 Honda just sitting in our yard (for back-up) even though I needs some mechanical work. It's amazing on gas and I keep tell DH to fix it and use it as a beater instead of his Saab. When I do have to borrow a car, it's usually my grandma's as well and it's totally a "grandma car". It's so funny, I can barely get in, she has her seat all the way to front as it will go, the radio is on a Northern New Mexican Spanish radio station, she has like 5 rosaries hanging from her rear view mirror, she has her little santitos pins on her dash board (she is catholic) and a glass ashtray filled with cigarette butts and it reeks of cigarettes. But she is always willing to lend it to us when we need it. Hopefully you can get a car soon!!!

@bookishmama GL with your TTC journey! That's amazing you will have a book out!!! That must be exciting!

As for me, I am doing good, although with each cycle that passes, it's one closer to not TTA and really start TTC. I get so nervous and anxious. I have always been the "out of sight, out of mind" and "jump now, think later" type person. I am (stupidly) avoiding temping, charting, reading..anything to do with TTC. I say stupidly because I feel it's important to know when I O and get my body ready, but the more I think about it, the more stressed and overwhelmed I get. So if I ignore it and leave it, I feel more relaxed, but then I stress out thinking "what if I don't O".
I think I have become a bit obsessed thinking and going over different scenarios in my head and need to just relax. Worry and stressing and imaging wont change a thing and makes me a crazy person.

I am also heartbroken that we aren't pregnant right now EVEN though we are TTA. I'm just crazy right now. I also wonder how I will react when I get a BFP, will I be happy, scared, nervous...and then physically, what will happen...will I start bleeding again and MC, will I go in for a U/S and they find nothing again?? Anyway, that is my rant...

QOTD: I love planting Marigolds. They remind me of my grandma. Caleb loves to help. It's our special time. He also love to help me water the rose bushes. He loves going to the park, swimming and the zoo!!

@srcr2011‌ - ((HUGS)) My mind often brings me to the "but I should be pg now" place quite often too. As much as I try to ignore it, it just hurts. I know that the last lime we were TTCAL I had a major panic attack just before I O'ed on our first cycle. DH didn't understand. I tried to explain that all of the frustrations with our infertility issues and then the loss of our son were just too much for me to handle at that moment. Try again and entering the world of the unknown is so scary, especially when you have already had the bad outcome. More ((HUGS)) to you as you get closer to being cleared!

@mkc5869‌ - I have also been having longer periods of EWM. At first I was excited, but now I am feeling that it is becoming more difficult to predict O and I am getting frustrated by it. Thank goodness for OPKs.

@rmpar29 I didn't know the nurse scared you like that!! OMG!! I'm so sorry!! ((HUGS)) I know you were worried about having another multiple pregnancy but you are an amazing mother to those boys and if you had to do it again I have faith you would survive!!! FX that this is your cycle!!!

@sunnydaysarehere I hear you about wanted to cover all of your bases. That's why I pushed for the HSG too. Even though everything was "normal" in the end I had to see it myself.

@Missa_g that's tough...I agree getting some opks will be very useful to figure out what your body is doing!

@sergeantb44 I'm in the same boat about the 2WW, I'm 10 dpo and don't want to test because I don't want to see the BFN

@mkc5869 I'm the same way with opks! I always hope I O over the weekend too for that same reason. I'm just so exhausted by the end of the work day!

AFM:

I'm feeling really sad about this cycle actually. I'm just trying SO hard not to get excited or hopeful about seeing a BFN this cycle, which we all know is absolutely impossible when you want to see one so badly. The progesterone hasn't been that bad, finding time in the morning to put it in and then lie down for 30 minutes has been the most challenging part! I've had a couple of mild headaches, bad acne and moodiness but other than that it hasn't been so bad. The one good thing is that ever since my loss I get brown spotting around CD 18 which lasts until AF and that has stayed away so far so that's a plus.

I'm going to poas on Sunday at 13dpo because I have my appointments with my new OB and RE on Wednesday 3/26 so I want to stop the progesterone and get AF so I would be around CD 3 when I see the RE. My cycles have been very short post loss (24-26 days) and Sunday will be CD 24 so I think that's a good day to test.

As all of you who have faced an EDD, my first is coming up on 3/30 and I was really hoping to be pregnant by now. I'm trying as hard as I can to stay positive but it's getting hard! At least I'll be seeing the RE next week and have a plan in place for next cycle.

QOTW: I love taking the girls to the playground! We're supposed to get 5 more days of snow up here so don't think that's happening any time soon!!

Hi ladies! Today is CD50 since my m/c...still waiting for my first AF. Got a BFN on Saturday. I plan to test once a week until AF arrives. I'm still BFing DS (only once a day), but I'll be weaning him when he turns 2 on the 30th, so hopefully that will help regulate my cycles a bit.

Hey ladies! Happy First Day of Spring!

My update: AF came on Sunday (ugh) so I celebrated with green beer. On to cycle #2! I received my results for my blood work. Everything was fine except that I carry 2 heterozygous MTHFR genes. I have a fasting blood draw in the morning to check my homocysteine levels. If they are normal, then the MTHFR gene isn't clinically relevant. Crossing fingers! Got the ok to try again this month.

My H has some exciting things going on with his job so it is busy here. I don't know if he will even be here the fertile window:( But we will try anyway. I upgraded my FF membership and ordered more OPKs on Monday.

QOTW: as soon as the nice Spring weather starts we love to walk to many of the parks nearby. It's wonderful to play outside with the boys!

Good luck to all the ladies in the 2WW!

I guess our status at this point is NTNP. Based on our RE visit and HSG 2 weeks ago, the factory is officially open but no AF as of yet, probably won't show until I start weaning off the pump but it doesn't stop me from tracking CM and peeing on OPKs to try and catch that first O! It's also hard to find time and opportunity for sessie time. Baby still sleeps in our room so we have to be quiet so we don't wake him. Sometimes we don't succeed. Hopefully he won't need therapy when he's older. :-D

@TMaggie0424 - I'm sorry that you and DH aren't on the same page TTC-wise. My DH wasn't ready to try as soon as I was either. He was so scared of going through it again and watching me go through it again. We agreed one more pregnancy and whatever happens, it will be the last. I hope that with some more conversations you and DH can get on the same page.

@sergeantb44 - When do you expect AF? I think you will continue getting open circles until you change your default time in FF.

@MoreThanSparrows08 - I'm sorry that you haven't gotten a new car yet. I hope that it can get figured out this week!

@BookishMomma - Congrats on your book coming out! That's wonderful news!

@RN536 - I'm sorry that you are facing the possible end of your TTC journey. Do you want to talk about it?

@mara005 - I know how hard it is when DH is gone. My DH works is gone 5 evenings a week and it's hard to take care of the boys when he's gone. All they want is daddy when daddy's not there. I hope that DS is better once your hubby is home!

@srcr2011 - I don't think it's necessary to be temping and using OPKs while you are TTA. You can certainly just start that when you are trying again. No point in having that stress if you don't need it.

@mkc5869 - I'm sorry that your body is being a little tricky right now. I hope that it settles into a new normal soon!

@Frenchteachermama - Huge (((((HUGS))))) lady! Thanks for the hugs, yes, it was hard to hear. I know what you mean about trying not to get excited. I'm already having that problem! I'm glad that the progesterone is going OK. I'm going to try changing it to take my progesterone at night. Would that be easier for you? I don't think it matters what time of day you take it.

@polevaultRN - I hope that AF comes soon. I've heard that you should call after 60 days.

@rmpar29 unfortunately I have to take it twice a day so I take it before bed and when I wake up in the am. I've been waking up early to temp, running down stairs to the fridge, putting it in and then lying down again. It's not good for my sleep but it's working.

Do you still temp while taking them? I just asked in the crazy train, but my temps will stay high as long as I'm on them right? Or will they drop if AF is on it's way?

Yeah we need to! Actually we need to move him to his big boy crib in his OWN ROOM. It really is time. I was ready a few weeks ago but DH was not, he's a nervous Daddy. Maybe we'll try this weekend.

I just got off the phone with my Re's office and they informed me that the referral still hasn't been sent to the surgeon. I'm not sure what the hold up is and I'm starting to get very frustrated! Oh well. All the test results came back normal- phew!! Thank God! And thank you for all the prayers and kind thoughts. It really helps so much.

I am now sitting at 7dpo and absolutely already losing my mind! Just for fun, can y'all remind me why 8dpo is still to early to test and that I am crazy for trying to convince myself otherwise!
QOTW: spring? Haha! Our spring happens so late here that we will probably still have snow in early May. I'm trying my hardest to think of what we like to do but it's so far away. Oh wait! I know, we love to go fishing together. Opening day is April 15 here, so dh is literally doing the countdown (since December!) I'm really looking forward to that.

rmpar29, I have picked a Ovulation Predictor Test and I am going to be using the Answer Brand from walmart, 20 dollars for 20 test stripes. I saw my OB yesterday for my Annual Exam and she told me that we had to wait until the end of April, so the 28 before we can start trying to conceive, she that would make are chances better for a better implantation. I praying and hoping that everything goes smoothly this time around we get the results that we have been praying and hoping for.

Hey Everyone sorry i missed last week. Hubs started for a new company and hes been coming and going a lot. looks like hes going to be gone for up to 6 weeks as of yesterday.
I had my first cycle , i am currently on CD 14 today, i was told to wait 2-3 cycles so i guess after this next one starts ( and depending on when the hubs gets home) we may start to TTC again if timing works out for us.

AS for the QOTW- i cannot wait to Spring clean my home. T ball will be starting soon, its our first year i am really excited for that to begin.

My chart is so jacked up this month! I guess I O'd? I had O pains Sunday evening, which is usually a pretty good indicator for me, so I thought that was O day. But my temps didn't rise until Wednesday. Going by that it looks like Tuesday might have been O day, in which case we had pretty poor timing. But, on Monday I committed the cardinal sin of charting... I double temped. My first temp at my normal time was 97.2. I then snoozed for 5 mins, temped again, and it was 97.6. I marked down the first temp, but if I put the second one in instead I get CH for Saturday. Like I said, everything is jacked up! Lol

DD has been a poor sleeper lately. We cut out our before bed nursing session and I think that has a lot to do with it. One night she didn't ask to nurse, so I took her lead and didn't offer. The fist three nights were great, she slept just like normal. Since night four she's hasn't wanted to get into bed and lay down, and it takes her forever to fall asleep. She's also been waking up between 3-4am most mornings and wants to play (hence all the open circles and missing temps in my chart) This morning she woke up at 3 and wanted to nurse. I let her hopping it would put her back to sleep. We still nurse 1x a day in the morning, so nbd. But then she told me she wanted her sippy instead and was hungry. So we had breakfast at 3:30 this morning... I hope this phase passes quickly!

Sorry for the whinny rant!

QOTW I can't wait for the weather to break so I can get the BOB back out and take DD running.

@kj808 - Have you called the doctor again or did AF decide to come?
AF showed up last Friday and it's already over! It was only here for 5 days, and after bleeding for 4 weeks with my miscarriage, having just 5 days of AF was a welcome surprise. So now i'm back to temping and considering TTC again this cycle.

QOTW: I like going to college baseball games in the Spring. Since we don't really have seasons here there isn't much change in the way of weather, although it's not usually quite as rainy and chilly as "winter" here can be,

Hi Everyone! Hope you're all enjoying a great day - it's gorgeous weather where I live and my DD and I have been soaking it all up today.

I'm in the 2WW. Hoping I O'd this cycle, covered a lot of days bding, and am just crossing my fingers & toes.

I had a moment of self pity today when (yet another) mommy friend told me she is pg...this time really stung b/c her EDD was 3 days after my EDD would have been. So hard. I'm happy for her (them) and I know they have no idea when they share their news that it wld cause me any heartache. But it's just so hard.

rmpar29-I know this is a different scenario than your's but I was also told by my Dr. that my chances are really high for multiples. One b/c I'm at an AMA and also b/c I am a fraternal twin. My DH kept asking the first time I pg if the dr was sure I was only pg w/ one...he was in panic the entire pg that there may be another one hiding in there.

QOTW: I love buying flowers and putting them in pretty mason jars or vases. I have white roses & yellow tulips sitting on my dining room table and on my fp mantle to celebrate the first day of Spring. Flowers always brighten a room & cheer me up! Especially love that my favorite flowers, tulips, bloom in early Spring.

As for us, I am waiting for FF to give me CH but I think I O'd a bit early this cycle based on temps and CM, making me 2 DPO now. We will see if FF gives me CH tomorrow.

@Frenchteachermama - Yes, I do still temp while on them. The last cycle that I was on them my temp dropped on 14DPO even though I was still using them. I think some women's temps stay high and others drop. Some women still get their period on them too.

@Bootsorhearts - I didn't move the boys into their own room until they are 4 months old. I've heard some people work their way into it by moving them into the hallway (if you have room) then the doorway and then fully into the room. If you have a baby monitor I guarantee that you will hear him if he cries!

@almostamissus - I could give you the whole scientific speal about why 8DPO is too soon to test, but you already know it my dear. Just step away from the pee stick for a couple more days, at least. I do understand the crazy...I'm feeling that at 3DPO!

@Neary2011 - I'm sorry that you have to wait until April, but that's only a month away and I hope the time flies for you! I'm glad that you found an OPK.

@RN536 - I'm so sorry that you are faced with this difficult decision, but it sounds like you are at peace with it. I have wondered too if I was only meant to have two children. Huge ((((((((HUGS)))))))

@dpalczer - I'm sorry that your DH is going to be gone for so long and I hope he's back in time. If not, road trip?

@KJsbabe - I don't think a .4 temp increase is going to make a big difference. TBH, I double-temp any day that I wake up and have to pee and then go back to sleep for 90 minutes or so. My second temp (around my normal time) is usually more accurate (unless I've only gotten 60 minutes of sleep). Maybe a snack before bed would help DD. A sippy cup of milk or some crackers. Anything to fill her up so she can sleep?

@kj808 - YAY for AF showing up and leaving so quickly. Good luck this cycle!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I was MIA last week. DH's birthday was 3/16, DS's birthday was 3/17, and my dad's birthday was 3/18! It was a crazy/busy week last week as we prepared to celebrate all of the birthdays this past weekend. But, it was so much fun! Here is C's cake:

He's a HUGE fan of Jake, so he about died when he saw the cake and cupcakes. They weren't cheap - for anyone that's seen Father of the Bride, I heard Steve Martin in my head saying "a cake, Franc, is make of flour and water" when I went to pay for the bill, but whatever. He loved it and it was delicious and that's that. We went down to the St. Paddy's day parade on Monday and froze our arse's off, but we had a great family weekend. I am so thankful it's Friday! I had 3 days off last week and not working is so much better than working

Currently, I am still waiting to O. My last cycle was my first post-m/c, and it was all sorts of messed up. I did confirm O (yay for my first time temping!), but AF showed up at 10DPO. That was frustrating. So, I am hoping that it was just a wonky cycle and that things are back to what my "normal" was before I got PG and miscarried. We have some out of town company staying with us this weekend, and I am anticipating I will O this weekend, so we'll just have to be stealth

QOTW: At this point, I am so anxious to just get outside and let C run around. We like to go to playgrounds, take walks, yardwork, and I love when I can finally get some flowers planted in my pots around our patio. We are CRAVING some sunshine and warmer weather in NE Ohio!!

@rmpar29 and @morethansparrows08 - Thank you so, so much for these check-ins. It amazes me that the two of you can be so organized and remember everyone, and that you find the time to do it. So a BFN for me when AF decided to show this am after I finished POAS. ..i think we should have a throat punch on this board...i am feeling very defeated today and just want to cry...my schedule and the SO have been crazy this week and I feel like I haven't hardly seen him..which is probably not really the case..His ex wife has been a pita and has not let us see the kids because it's spring break and " her holiday" not that they have gone anywhere.

I have the reverse raffle which for anyone that was not sure how it works its exactly as it sounds person gets an entry ticket and they're all drawn out as a raffle instead of wanting to be the first one chosen you want to be the last one chosen and that it to win.

sorry I didn't reply about that earlier. I am coordinating the majority of it and I feel very unorganized again which is very unlike me.

I am beginning to truly second guess my ability to get pregnant which in the back of my mind has always been a concern for me I never thought it would come true. I just have a hard time knowing that I'm still not pregnant but I have no diagnosis as to why. I know I have not been trying for very long and this probably sounds of me in comparison to many of you which I guess so much credit.

I literally got pregnant the first time I swear within a week of stopping my birth control pills and now it feels like an eternity trying to get pregnant again.

Sorry my rant became so long thanks for the support I am very grateful for this board I cannot even tell you ladies how much.

Sorry for the late reply! Yes, AF did show up, thank goodness. Now the waiting really begins! However, DH and I had a really great talk at dinner tonight and he told me how he was really excited about the idea of a third. Before, he was content with two, but willing to try for a 3rd. It made me so happy.

QOTD: Anything and everything outside. We have had a crazy cold winter (which is unusual here) and are anxious to hit some parks and the zoo!
