I've borrowed the Beaba Babycook from a friend and the cookbook that came with it doesn't tell you how to make the basics in terms of how much water to add, etc. Anyone use this and if so is there a place to get recipes for one ingrenient foods?
I do have this and remember reading somewhere how much water to add, depending on what you're cooking. But I can't remember where I read it! The cookbook I have is called "Cooking for Baby," but I don't think that is specifically for the Beaba. I was very specific in following directions when I used it with DS1, but now with DS2 I just estimate For most things, just fill the container up to the "2" line with water. Some things like pears need less water because they are quite liquidy to begin with. But, having more water doesn't hurt. When the steaming is done, I always dump out the water into another container, and then add it back when I'm pureeing if I need more liquid. I hope this helps!

You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast..."
The manual is available as a PDF online. It contains a chart that indicates how much water to add based on which single-ingredient food you're preparing.
